My experience at OZ clinic with Dr. Hyuncheol Park

Recommended Posts

no comments are necessary. These images speak for themselves. The ligaments and periosteum were severed and everything sagged. You need to understand that the scaffolding of the face was destroyed. It is really, really hard to show the damage in picture. You need to see me in real life. I look AT LEAST 15 years older than what I am. I don’t know how much you can tell from the pictures. Suffice it to say that I have bone resorption, severe descent of the face, huge bone gaps, displacement of the bones and many, many other problems. Even my eyes are drooping. I have ptosis and scleral show as a result of the facial sagging. You do not have to take my word for it: look at the pictures. Look at the cat scan images. My life is ruined. I will need bone grafts harvested from
My hip and several surgeries to fix the disaster. I hope I die in my sleep but I hope I can save other people from this nightmare. I will never look pretty or normal again. Can you see the sagging? Can you see the shadows, can you see the destruction of the anatomical contour? I look always dirty because I have shadows, disfigurement, in my face.Imagine it looks 100 times worse in real life, in 3d. Be careful with these Korean clinics. They use fake before and after pictures

Thank you for being so brave and putting this out. The more we can know of shady and devious clinics the better we can do to make more informed choices. My apologies that oz failed and lied to you, hopefully you can find a better surgeon to reverse the damage. Lots of love, and wishes!

thank you, but I just want to die. Years and years of nightmare. Disfigured. Nobody wants me anymore. I can't even go to the hairstylist because looking at my deformed face is painful

Thank you for posting pics. I do see wht you are talking about. In response to your other thread, can you reach out to a craniofacial specialist to see if they will take you on? I’m sure there are doctors out there who will be willing to look at your case even if it is not due to cancer or an accident. I’m sure it can be fix. It’s going to be a long process but I think the first step is to bind your bones back together. Let it heal. Then you can do fat grafts in order to even out the bumpiness and hollow points with a plastic surgeon later.

yes, the first step is to reposition the bones anatomically and have them fuse together. I will most likely need bone grafts harvested from the hip. After that, I will need some tissue reconstruction. That individual who did the surgery amputated the facial ligaments, muscles, periosteum that keep the face together. My god, I am so sad. Remember that I look 100 worse in real life.

I have had extensive psychotherapy with all kinds of modalities. I have gone to therapists, psychiatrists, I have done cognitive behavioral therapy, I have done every imaginable thing. Useless. It's pretty easy for you to sit there and call me crazy and think I need a psychiatrist, when I have already gone to several, with no benefit. I wonder how you would feel if you were disfigured as I am. I do not need any other therapist, I need a craniofacial surgeon who can fix me. Also, I am not underweight, I am actually overweight as a result of this. I have also consulted make up artists, there is no way make up can reposition the sagging tissues. I have tried EVERYTHING. All I need is to fix this and move on.

thank you, I am sorry if I misinterpreted your previous post where you told me to seek mental health. I have already, and it didn't work. I hope I can fix this soon. Anyway, I am not underweight, I promise you.

@Denyagan,

Thank you so much for sharing your journey and I'm sorry to hear about the horrors you endured. Praying that you'll have the willpower to live and find the solution.

I've resisted some popular Korean plastic surgery procedures, and @Denyagan has further cemented my belief against the controversial methods used by plastic surgeons. I am happy to accept my naturally high cheekbones, wide zygoma, and angular jawline as a blessing that I was born with and needs no extreme surgery. Instead, I enhanced my face safely by plumping it up with a bit of Juvederm, fat graft and improving the 3-D face effect with glowy skincare regime.

We all need to recognise whether we really have a medically-confirmed facial deformity or a deformed perception of ourselves before needlessly cutting facial bones that could end up doing more harm than good.

Don't always believe the hype.

Yes Missy Sana. Thank God I got scared years ago (like back in 2013) when I had the money to do my VLine and delayed my surgery. Then I got sucked in again over the last 18 months and wanted to do the surgery as most ppl who have undergone the sx say "it's a breeze", "nothing to it".
It's almost like a lottery, there are winners and losers!!!!
My big round face will stay as it does hold up well to keep one looking youthful. It may not have the WOW factor of a classic almond face but look at Christie Brinkley. She is in her early 60's and she has a very full face from her bone structure and being the model of a Filler company.

Finally, Denyagan, I think you should amend the title from an innocuous
"My experience at OZ clinic with Dr. Hyuncheol Park" to something like "Stay away at all cost from OZ", "Be careful of surgery at Oz".

If the facial technology is unable to recognize someone's face after surgery, whatever it may be, then that person would have to join another queue to be checked manually by a member of staff. Be sure to allow plenty of time for recovery and de-swelling, and then ask for a certificate or doctor's letter from the clinic to confirm the surgeries undertaken before getting the return flight, because who wants to be detained at the airport like these silly women?

It is pretty common for an Asian to have wide lateral cheekbones and flat when you view them by the side. When i was younger, i used to hate it for having a "flat" face but now at an older age, I begin to appreciate it and thought that it looks kind of cute because my face looks kind of "plump". Until now, i have never done any fillers or fat grafts for fear that it will make my face sag or become loose earlier when the fillers or fat grafts are dissolved/disappeared as they might create a bigger space between the skin and skull. (Did i think too much? hmm...)
I would never do anything to change the shape of my face because i seen lotsa videos on Koreans who had those FC, zygoma reductions etc and some experience numbness on some parts of their faces, and some started to drool unconsciously. And also, I do not want a plate or screw or anything on my face. Besides that, the effects of plastic surgery can be seen when one becomes older, especially when the skin on the face starts to sag etc.
However, i do admire the courage of others who seek beauty by undergoing such major surgeries as i know i will never have the courage do it.

I had to do this when I came back from Iceland to the states and even without getting work done it was so awkward/uncomfortable (“um... am I doing this right?”). I forgot about this and now I’m worried!
