wingsolo Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 Hi there, I know plastic surgery is more for females, but I just feel like I'm a pretty ugly dude so I'm considering plastic surgery (although not 100% sure). I just had some general questions. I'm thinking of getting double eyelid surgery and perhaps rhinoplasty. How much would these procedures cost and how long does the process take as well as the healing process? Are there long term consequences/ perhaps consequences that are not well known about these surgeries?
am78 Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 This depends on cultural norms. In Korea, male surgery is quite prevalent so you don't need to worry about any social stigma if you intend to get work done there. Cost vary depending on the clinic, but the 6-8K USD is probably a safe to range to look at for both surgeries combined. In terms of recover, most of the swelling should be gone after the first week - that's also when you would get your stitches removed. As with all surgical procedures, there is a always a risk, take time to research where and what you want, read the success and failures stories from fellow forumers here. This will help you make an informed decision. Good luck!
Wondermuffin Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 For primary rhinoplasty, “primary” meaning you haven’t done any surgery before, for the smaller clinics, it starts from 4m krw. Whereas for the bigger clinics, it starts from 4.5m-6m krw. Extras like tip plasty, alar reduction would be 500k each, on top of that starting price. One exception is opera clinic, which quotes 3m for rhinoplasty all inclusive. For double eyelid surgery, incisional starts from 2.5m to 3m in smaller clinics. Extras like ptosis and canthoplasty are 700k each on top of that starting price.
wingsolo Posted October 4, 2018 Author Posted October 4, 2018 Thanks for the information. Do you know of any clinics that you could recommend?
wingsolo Posted October 4, 2018 Author Posted October 4, 2018 Thanks for the reply. What do you mean by extras?
kenboy Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 I'm a Korean American male and have lived in the states my whole life, but after many consideration and doubts, I have decided to think for myself only and will be going to Korea for Plastic Surgery, specifically nose, mayyybe eyes, but most importantly nose. Have you searched any of the clinics?
chinnie Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 For extras--Rhinoplasty is basically just straightening your nose, but if you need your nostrils reduced, bulbous tip slimmed/lifted, implants, septoplasty, or hump removal, these are all additional charges.
ariyapp9 Posted October 26, 2018 Posted October 26, 2018 Does straightening nose means that placing an implant? If my nose is deviated bit, will that be an additional charge?
kenboy Posted December 6, 2018 Posted December 6, 2018 Hi All! Im back and finally got my nose done! Best decision of my life. Any other males looking to get their face done in Korea?
