ruff Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Hey everyone. I am new to this. I am mid 20's male in the US. I am looking for the best place to do a rhinoplasty. Also, I am reading a lot of nightmare situations in Korea. I have been wanting to go because I heard they are the best. But with all of the bad cases I am reading, should I just get the rhinoplasty in the US? Thank you.
chinnie Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 I can tell you American PS have the same bad result/good result ratio, but they cost like 4x more easily and not including anesthetia/OR fees, so I would say might as well at least give Korea a shot, at least that's what I'm doing

I have been looking at Opera and Pitangui as far as value for westerners, Mina looked very nice but too expensive. Right now probably Opera is still at the top of my list. But they aren't considered "rhino specialists". There's a lot of good information on great rhino docs here! Just gotta dig a little. I hear banobagi is supposed to be a good rhino place? And I am having a rhino but also chin and eyes.

I searched a lot of different places and I choose Shimmian finally cuz their experiences and quality of surgery. Also the thing that I believe them was the doctor was an otolaryngologist. And they also have a translator and she followed up me from the online consultation to after surgery. If you want to I can share her contact. Just reply me!
vee_wudlyktoplay Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 I just got my rhinoplasty + alar reduction with Dr. Lee Hyuntaek at Banobagi last month and I love my new nose. I know that the shape of it now will still change and final result/look is going to show around December but I’m in love with it already. I asked for my ideal nose which is tall bridge w/ a high tip, but I don’t want my alars to look pinched, I still want it to look like mine but smaller and Dr. Lee made it happen. I got a good discount because they were having a 35% promo on July for rhinoplasty so I went for it, sent the $500 deposit, and set my surgery September.
