  1. Phfitan, I think you mentioned you did your surgery at NOWME? Did they have an English translator, and how was your experience? I've added it to my list of clinics to research, but I couldn't seem to find their webpage online.

  2. Thanks for the comments guys, I'm still pondering over it, especially over the aging part. I looked at a family picture and noticed the similarities - the chubby cheeks. Especially since I have a really active lifestyle and the face fat is not likely to be due to baby fats. All seem to be good signs pointing towards a slimmer appearance if doing buccal fat removal. Honestly my cheeks ache lately with all the smiling I've been doing for analysis LOL.

  3. I'm also curious to know more about buccal fat removal! I am wondering if I should get buccal fat removal in my home country, and then do FC later on - from what I researched about the process, buccal fat removal would help with the chubbiness of the lower third of the face (something I need). But I don't want to look super chiseled like a supermodel haha. I'm also worried with aging, whether I will miss the chubby cheeks?

  4. Hi Clara! I'm so sorry that I only just saw this message. I sort of forgot all about my account here as I did my nose job so long ago & was contented with the results that I kind of just went on with life. I only reopened this account this year, because I started researching FC procedures. Did you go for your surgeries in the end? I'm happy to chat more on kakao!! Please PM me or let me know your ID.

Hi Exogirl! I was a hugeeeee TVXQ fangirl haha as you can tell from my username. I'm so sorry that I only just saw this message!!! As I mentioned earlier, I got my nose job in 2015 and was happy with it, so I just went on with life and I kind of forgot all about my account here until this year when I started researching FC procedures. I'm not sure if this is still helpful, but at the time when I did my surgery with JW in 2015, I had never heard of doctor swapping. It is truly scary indeed  Where have all the medical ethics gone and what does the Hippocratic's Oath even mean to those horrible people who do that! They shouldn't even have the gall to call themselves doctors. I am happy to chat with you privately! Please PM me or let me know your ID.

  5. Definitely...
I even went to the Gangnam Medical Tourism website and checked all the clinics listed on the website there before I realised that it doesn't "guarantee" anything in a medical dispute. To be honest, I'm terrified of a botched job more than on recovering monetary damages. I guess that's why trusting the surgeon's skill and experience is so important.

I totally understand this. Since plastic surgery is such a sensitive topic, not many people are willing to put their faces online and give real reviews. When I did my nose job in 2015, I was so scared right before and even after, I refused to give B&As to anyone online. And yet real B&As are probably the most helpful thing, especially seeing other people with similar facial features.

I'm also looking at TFD and EU now for FC procedures! If you want we can always chat more.

  6. Thank you for posting this and your bravery in sharing something so personal to you. I'm currently researching facial contouring procedures and speaking to surgeons, before making a decision and I appreciate reading about the experiences of others.

  7. Hi Stephanie, thanks for sharing your experience. I did go to Yoskarn for a rhinoplasty consult back in 2013 - 2015 (can't remember which year exactly), and spoke to Dr. Somyos Kunachak for a consultation. I remember being impressed by the clinic, but shocked at the price - he quoted me practically the price I eventually paid in Korea for my nose job. Could I find out from you whether Dr. Chakarin Suchakaro speaks English during consultations or is it usually handled through a translator?

  8. I think you could try searching "jennydear plastic surgery" on YouTube, she did a V-line surgery and she might have the features you're looking for.

  9. Thanks for this thread, and everyone for sharing your experiences. I did rhino 5 years back, and at that time I thought I'd never do PS again - but here I am again now looking into FC procedures.

I'm similar to o_0h in that I have wide cheekbones and a wide jaw. The wide jaw has been helped with botox over the years. At first, I was only researching mandible reductions because I too like my cheekbones. But after sending my pictures for consultation I started to feel like maybe I need a zygoma reduction too. Will try to get the opinion of a local surgeon before I continue researching further.

And my fingers are crossed for MadameButterfly and for soyamilk!

  10. Hi babe, gosh I'm so sorry to hear about VIP  I did both lateral and median osteotomy- I had the typical bulbous nose, that was pretty much wide throughout. Right now the results (>2 months since surgery) are pretty much settled and I find that the results are quite natural and it wasn't really a big change from my previous look- basically friends don't notice unless I tell them. It's what I asked for and Dr Suh agreed with, because I have a wide, square face and a small nose wouldn't look proportional for me. I notice it though! My rhino with Dr Suh was a primary rhino, not a revision. I hope this helps you with your planning.

  11. Hi! It's about 3 weeks post-op and i'm liking it so far =)
If you're doing rhinoplasty, bring Q-tips, so that you can clean your nose. I didn't bring, but JW provided me with extra when I asked. Be prepared with food and water, and make sure you have someone to take care of you once you just finish surgery as you may still be out of it. And be mentally prepared if you want to do surgery: Know the process and set reasonable expectations of the results.

I'm not really an expert! But I hope the advice is somewhat helpful =) Do read more on the forums!!

  12. All the best to you! My good wishes go with you.
