1. If you don’t feel comfortable staying at this AirBnB, cancel the reservation and eat the loss as a price for your piece of mind. The listing has a strict cancellation policy. Based on your post, it’s too late to get any refund per airbnb’s 7 day rule. This is one more worry you don’t need, so if it’s important to you to avoid this accomodation, cancel, book an new place, and focus on your surgery.
2. You can also keep your reservation and communicate with your host there whether you will use his services or not. Guides, middlemen, and brokers may be unpopular here on TPF, but lots of people think it’s worth the extra cost and chose to use them regardless, and it’s entirely a personal choice. It doesn’t sound like this place is unsafe. Since you can’t get your money back from AirBnB, it wouldn’t be odd or impractical at all if you decided to continue with your original plan - so long as you understand the medical tourism business and have appropriate expectations.
Very detailed consultation recaps. I liked how you mentioned pricing and doctors' specialties. Good luck on your recovery and please keep us updated.
You mentioned Tony the marketer. Is that that same Tony from Seoul Guide Medical? I was interested in them and curious what the experience is like with their assistance.
I totally agree with the others who say you are very handsome. I would totally click "like" if I saw you on a dating app. Your strong jaw and sharp eyes look masculine.
Your eyelid seems to have a lot of fat on it, it's not droopy, so perhaps epi and subtle DES, rather than ptosis. Please let us know how your consultations go and what the professionals end up recommending for you!
Great review! I wasn't sure if they did chin implants or not, as I couldn't find it on their website. Now that I know, they're going on my list of places to consider.
May I ask, what other clinics or hospitals did you consult with, and what was your impression of them?
I'm glad you brought this up. The tax refund is something I saw mentioned often in this forum but I did not know the logistics of it. The links everyone posted were very useful.
