I know this has been brought up a million and one times but I wasn't able to find any threads about it. I'm considering going back to Korea for surgery during Christmas/New Years  (probably ~dec 15th) time. I assume I'll need to put down a deposit for a surgery date but does anyone know which days clinics are actually closed? 

I used Citymapper and found it to be incredibly useful and easy to use.

Hi all! Nice to meet you. I’m a long time lurker in the kk chats (almost a year now). However I try to jump in and participate when I can.

I am a female in my mid 20s. 

I am going to Korea in November for the first time. 

I will be getting: vline, maybe zygoma, rhino with osteotomy, incisional des, epi, lateral cantho, ptosis correction. I’m really excited and can’t wait to share my experience and photos with the community!

So cheap! I think it;s because they have a new FC doctor it also looks like the event is only valid for the first 20 people and surgery has to happen in octopber.

You do have to also keep in mind that foreigners have priority when it comes to scheduling, they also need to hire consultants who can speak English, hire and creating marketing information to cater to foreigners as well. Some of the mark ups are ridiculous but foreigners should eat charged more if the hospital offers special services.

 

There's a fear that they will be ousted for having plastic surgery, which in many countries is still frowned upon. I've noticed that some folks who have been brave enough to share their photos have been attacked and accused of being a promoter.

 

Depending on the hospitals you're interested in you can find B&As by searching through this forum, YouTube, Misooda, or SoYoung (if you can't read Chinese view it on your web browser and translate). If you join a Kakao group sometimes people are willing to share their photos through there as well.

Would dr oh be willing to revise your chin once the swelling goes down or is he only pushing Botox?

 

I definitely think your chin is still pretty square, which looks good on you but isn’t what you wanted. You’re also probably still a bit swollen but based off your scans it doesn’t look like much was done to your chin area in terms of changing the shape.

I believe if both surgeries require GA you'll have to wait about a week in between since it's a bit dangerous to undergo GA too often in a short period of time.

 

@eggyolk tha I you for writing this review! I’m going to Girin in November so super exciting to hear about your journey. Do you know if they offer any deswelling treatments?

 

I think you just have to take everything with a grain of salt patients usually will get a certain percentage off or free skin treatments if they share their before and after photos. Doesn’t necessarily mean that it was a sponsored/free surgery.
