@hanna123z I dont have exerpience with lasik in korea, however I did get it in america about 2 months ago. You'll need to make sure that you have a hotel room booked very close to the clinic you get your surgery done and then make sure to take a sleeping pill and sleep for as long as you can. Your eyes will be burning, stinging, and watery soon after the procedure. You'll also want to wear sunglasses outside (always) and even inside if it's too bright for your eyes. I wore sunglasses indoors for almost a week. But you should be able to be out and about the next day, however your eyes will be a bit dry and sensitive. They'll give you a lot of different eyedrops to use daily.
I would go ahead and email them asking for additional details, they’re a government accredited agency so everything should be pretty transparent. They’re not like Docfinderkorea where they won’t share the name of the clinic until you give your full name and birthday.
I’m going to be going to girin since they offered my model pricing but I also consulted with View, gng, banogbagi, Cinderella, opera, and a few other places. If you ever wanna chat my kakao is purrrina.
I'll be in Seoul from Nov 16-Dec 1, I'll be doing v-line, zygoma (maybe), rhino, and my eyes. My kakao is purrrina if anyone will be there a similar time or just wants to chat!
@Perceval and @Lonekitty another great place to look up real before and after photos is soyoung.com - it’s a Chinese site but if you translate the pages you can get a good feel for promo pricing, pain levels, and how well certain clinics do certain procedures
@BritneySparkles try contacting clinics through misooda.com, they’re really good about helping you find clinics within your budget! They might even be able to help you get a ps modeling deal if that’s something you’d be comfortable with.
I'm hoping to go to Korea later this year and I was referred to him and briefly spoke with him a few days ago, this review just strengthens why I think I will book with him! Did you ask him to pick you up and help you with your consultations or did he just offer? I'm also going alone and quite nervous.
Hi @D.O.abi would you be kind enough to PM me your before and after photos? I really liked Opera's consultant, and they're one of my top choices but I'd love to see some real before and after photos.
I'd figure out the total cost for flight, hotel, food, surgery, etc - then open up a savings account and direct deposit X amount of funds into that account. It'll give you a pretty realistic view of what's achievable and what's actually in your budget.
Lasik/lasek surgery in Seoul anyone has done?
