  1. So as I mentioned back in March, I was looking for a clinic to do gynecomastia reduction. Since losing weight, I have had an issue with my chest. I contacted a number of clinics and found one that is priced right, they understood what I wanted, and I had gone through the process of an online consultation. My appointment is booked a fair bit in advance. I won't be getting it done until the end of July. So I have just shy of 3 months. I got most of the medical information. I have my flights booked. I am still debating on a few hotels. What else should I do to prepare?
  2. Most clinics will charge you ahead of time, even if you are there in person. They require a percentage or flat fee when booking an appointment so if you miss it or don't show up, they still get something out of it. @lolya18 basically summed it all up perfectly.
  3. I believe this is considered one of the lower risk procedures. You can end up with some bruising and swelling but it usually only lasts a week or two. I also read/heard of blurred vision and dry eye complaints but again, they only last a few weeks at most. Vision loss is probably the worst risk but is extremely rare. Risks like that are seen in people that have had multiple surgeries by the way.
  4. I had no idea this was considered the plastic surgery capital of the world, interesting! I know Korea is known for their plastic surgery but I am guessing the world-wide appeal is down to the cost and the experience. It is far more common for young people to get work done in Korea vs other nations where you typically see mostly 35+ in age getting work.
  5. I have seen good things about this place when looking around online. Not something I am looking to have done but they seem to be one of the best for facial contouring so it is worth looking into for anyone wanting this kind of work done!
  6. Aren't transplants for women a bit more complicated? Like how women tend to lose hair is thinning all over vs men that bald mostly on the top. I hope you find someone that can do it for you! My sister had trouble. No doctor would do it for her cause the success rate was too low.
  7. Oh, that is right. I should be using the proper term for it. Thank you I will give that a try. And thank you for letting me know about that clinic, I will check it out and maybe contact them!
  8. I lost a fair bit of weight using ozempic and while I am happy to be slimmer again, I am self-contentious about my sagging "moobs". I don't know what else to call them. I had a fair amount of fat in my chest so now it just looks terrible. I can't afford to do this surgery locally, my sister recommended going out of the country for it. Korea seems to be the cheapest option so I am trying to find a clinic that does this.
