  1. I am actually going to need some lipo for my tummy tuck. I was told by two clinics so I have a general idea of the pricing. For me it is going to be $1,500 (in Korea). I don't have much that needs to be removed. I would guess it would be double for a standard amount and maybe another $1000 if it was around the back. I heard removing back fat takes a bit more effort and time. So I would guess $4,000 would be the price based on what I know.
  2. I am sure you could find a clinic willing to remove breast implants or whatever else is done, maybe correct scaring and such. I don't know much about these surgeries but I never heard of a clinic specifically for this. There isn't even a clinic only for gender affirming surgeries. A lot of them offer this stuff on top of other plastic surgery.
  3. Thanks everyone. I have been researching it since I posted it and everyone seems to be correct. I also spoke with a few clinics. I am intending on taking an additional 2 weeks off after coming home from Korea with one on the table. So they know ahead of time I may need an extra week but I will be working from home so it is fine.
  4. I am hoping someone here has had one done. I am not sure how long I should take off from work in total. I have a general idea of how long I will need to be in Korea but in terms of healing and recovery, I don't know how long I should avoid working. My job does have some labor aspects to it which is concerning me. I could do some work from home but I want to make sure I can get enough time to recover before working again to risk injury or messing up my surgery.
  5. I didn't even think of restrictions for prescription drugs in Korea! Thank you for posting this thread asking about it. I am going to have to look into this more and probably contact them as I do take anxiety medication as needed.
  6. I didn't think of getting a credit card in case it is needed, that is a good idea. I will look into it. I'll have to do some math and get a general idea of costs by contacting different clinics. Thanks everyone!
  7. No you just need a standard passport unless you plan on staying there for an extended time. I can't remember what it is called but a set of nations allows for easy travel without visas via passports and the US and South Korea are two of those locations.
  8. So $1000 for hotel and flights, and $8,000 for the surgery. I'll probably want at least $1000 for shopping/food so I guess planning on $10,000 would be ideal? Thanks for the information!!
  9. I lost over a 120 pounds and unfortunately because of my age and genetics, I have a lot of loose skin on my stomach. I was looking into doctors locally but I can't afford to have this done here. It is just too expensive. I heard Korea has better pricing. Can someone give me an idea of how much this surgery would cost in total (including flights and average hotel stay)?
