  1. Coscrazy, I've looked closely at your 'before' photos and I have to say that I think your original nose was really pretty. Do you have another "front" view photo of your nose now? (preferably in the same angle as the before photo ones).

Without looking at a clearer photo of your nose now, it's hard to say whether your procedure was an improvement...hmmm...I'm really sorry to say this girl (but I think you prefer honesty) I think your original nose looked better. Please post up a clearer photo of your nose now though cause I could be wrong. But just going on the photos you've posted up, I don't know if it's just a bad angle or what...your original nose just looks "softer" and natural I guess.

Again, really sorry to say this and this is just my personal opinion based on limited information. If I were in your shoes, I would probably go ahead with a revision, or at least get my nose back to it was originally.

  2. Coscrazy,

I've seen your photos of your nose, and I agree with Maskd on this one. I think your nose is still "above average" but until we see what your original nose looked like it's very difficult to tell whether the doctor blotched the job or not. Perhaps you merely had overly high expectation?

Maybe you can post up a photo of your original nose and this way we will be able to judge better your ps?

Hope u r feeling better now

  3. Kayla, I think you are really cute already and your nose is fine...of-course the choice is yours but you must be prepared that rhinoplasty is risky business and you may lose what you already have without getting what you want. Rhinoplasty has the highest rate of revision in facial surgery and there are risks with each type of graft you choose to use (rib, silicone, gortex)etc. While it is likely that you might look more "refined" there is no guarantee in surgery and that is why if you elect to do ps, you must be well equipped to deal with the consequences of things going wrong...do it if you have the financial/emotional/support etc. and you are fully prepared. Otherwise, take your time and really consider if this is a risk you are willing to take. Good luck!

  4. Kimosa - good to hear that you got ur revisions and have come back safely. R u happy with your nose now? Do you think Dr.Kim corrected what you asked of him and what do you think about your new shape? (is it very different shape-wise from the first procedure?) Thanx girl!

Prettygirl85 - god, I keep thinking there must be something you can do - is there no justice in the world?

Maskd - good to have you back in this forum!! U r like the god-mother hehe...

coscrazy - hope u r feeling better - perhaps you should wait another 3 months before your revision in case it gets better by itself?

  5. Oh Coscrazy, I am so sorry to hear about your experience. Do u know if Dr.Park of Dreamclinic give free revisions and if yes, do you trust him enough to go back to him? Also, how is your financial situation? If you have the funds, maybe go to another doctor? But if not, then maybe Dr.Park fixing up your nose is better than nothing? Perhaps, since he made the first operation, Dr.Park will be able to understand what went wrong better, and therefore be more "capable" of fixing it the second time round? This is a really tricky one...

But it's SO bad that nobody came to check on you even though you got sick during the operation!

  6. Ceyairs - thanx for sharing your story with us, god that doc sounds so irresponsible and unethical! Can he get away with this? I mean, isn't there something we as patients can do? I guess sharing information is a good way of letting people aware of these issues, but I just feel that this doc got off "scott free" and never had to take responsibility for his actions. I hope you reported him to the medical board!

  7. Keenose - I'm so sorry to hear of your troubles. I think Jang's auntie is right, don't do it yourself whatever you do! Gosh it makes me so mad that these docs are not as careful as they should be! I mean, we are not doctors, so why should we operate on ourselves (dig into hole etc...) That's why we pay so much $$$ to get looked after by a professional!

I think the others are right and the best thing to do now is to get it looked at by another PS - if you don't like that PS or you don't feel comfortable with him/her you don't have to use him/her. It just means it's gonna be more $$$ gone...

    *hugs*

  8. Prettygirl85, thanx for sharing ur story with us - this kind of feedback is invaluable! When did you get the surgery done, and is there ANY improvement at all?

  9. Keenose, do be careful, I dunno, I'm just not comfortable with the idea of DIY surgery, even if it's something as seemingly simple as pulling out a thread. I mean, it's buried underneath your skin right? What if you pull it out and leave a scar? I really think it might be better to get a professional to look at this, what do you think? Of-course you know your nose best and if it's not painful etc. maybe you can just pull it out. But if it starts hurting, or bleeding etc. then maybe you should stop in case you do some damage.

Hmm...has Dr.Chuang seen the black spot? Have you shown him a photo? Is he sure it's the tail of the thread?

  10. Keenose - I think u should maybe stop using it for at least 1 week. I haven't heard anywhere about the alar bleeding - definitely try and get in touch with Dr.Chuang to find out what's going on. Also, check with him when you can expect your alar hole to be healed completely!

Obviously, I'm not a doctor so this is all just my personal opinion, but at 5 weeks, I think you are entitled to know exactly what is going on and when you can expect to be 'hole-less'.

    *keeping fingers crossed for you*

Also, check if the bleeding may have caused any adverse reactions

  11. Thanx for sharing :okay:

This finding the right doc is really hard work! *phew*
