How far in advance do I need to book?

Sorry if this is a silly question but I couldn't find much information on this and similar posts are dated back 6 years ago. I wanted to ask how long is the waiting list usually to get a surgery (if there is one)?

I'm wondering as well. 

I can only stay in Korea for 2-3 weeks, but I'm hoping to get in person consultation. I'm worried clinics are going to be fully booked and have no availability 2-3 weeks in advance.

It depends on what time of the year you're trying to book.

Ok, reviving an old thread here, but this is a huge worry for me too.... Making the big trip there and not being able to secure a surgery date! That said, if clinics are taking consultation appointments with foreigners, they must be aware that those ppl are only in the country for a few weeks at most. Definitely a good question to ask when booking consults.

I really want there to be a poll or something of people that have gone to Korea without securing the surgery date by paying the deposit because clinics always use that as a tactic to persuade people into putting down a deposit, but then some people on the forum have said that they end up moving local patients around just to fit the international ones in? Some have also had to do another trip because they couldn't fit them in which is worse case scenario so I'm curious about the actual stats
