I would be careful of pics/ patient testimonials from large clinics. I would like to share by experience with Wonjin.

I almost went to wonjin for eyelid surgery. But I discovered that the doctor assigned to me was not an eyelid specialist as claimed by them. When I requested for dr park wonjin to do my surgery, they told me he only specializes in breast augmentation and facial contouring

If u look at the recent patient testimonial used by them:

http://wonjinenglish.blogspot.kr/search?updated-max=2014-07-13T16:35:00-07:00&max-results=10&m=1

The girl claimed to have we eyes and nose done by dr park wonjin!

So we shouldn't trust those materials

The best thing to do is to ask people on the forum for before and after pics.

It's not photoshopped because when I went to Everm, they have a video on replay. The video consists of those people telling their stories and it shows their before and afters frm the photos and also live

Wow. You must have saved up a lot of money then... Man, I really hope our faces turn out great ;)

What's AT? Is that short for something? And yes, I'm Korean. I look through the photos on the Naver Feko forum which is a basically an entire ps forum. hahaha. I'm still waiting for this girl to get back to me. But her nose, eyes and just facial contour turned out great! This is the kind of fat graft result I want. Very natural but noticeably prettier. As of now, I'm asking clinics for Lee Yubi style eyes, but we'll see what's possible since what we're born with still determines the results we can achieve.. haha.

When you search on Naver, do you go to forums? or just look at the web results? I think searching through the blog section is very helpful as well, even though most of the results are from the official blogs of ps clinics.

Does anyone know how doctors are paid if they are not on the board of directors or owner of the clinic so basically they just work there. Do you think they are salaried AND get commission for each surgery or are they just on commission or just salaried?

I read that there is a new scandal in korea ps industry. MBC news showed a video of a surgeon letting a nurse to operate on a patient

speechless...

on a side note TLPS was the one that came out with quick zygoma surgery which mainly target side zygoma but cant deal with 45 degree problem. I saw on this website that Iwell plastic surgery(never heard of this clinic until now) quick zygoma not only deal with side zygoma but also 45 degree and zygoma arch...
sounds too good to be true.Anyone heard of this?

Hi, I did an email consultation last month and was subsequently set up an appointment to see Park Won Jin. I was enquiring about eye surgery. But subsequently I did mine at a local clinic for the price and did not procred for the app. If he doesn't do eyes, the consultant won't have arrange for me to see him.

So it shows that Wonjin is a LIAR. Exactly my point. I will copy and paste their email here:

"Dr. Jo (my assigned surgeon) is not new. He has many experiences for eyelid surgery at Wonjin.

You can trust us, your consultant(Sophy) matched best surgeon who has best medical technique

He is in the Korean website, but our English website has not been update for a long time.

I totally understand what is your concerning.

But I need to assure that Dr. Park Wonjin who is representative doctor of Wonjin beauty medical group is specialist for revisional breast surgery and facial contouring. He invited best surgeon in each field to reach the patient’s goals.

Please trust our medical system."

I even offered to pay more for park wonjin and this was the response I got.

Also I booked my surgery 4 months before as I was an exchange student in Seoul.

To all Forumers. Beware of large clinics, esp if u are foreign. U may be a trainee doctor's "experiment"

This was an extract from an email I sent to my mum after discovering that wonjin mislead to me. I risked loosing my 700 USD but was so prepared to.

I previously hesitated posting this on a public forum, but after reading your post, I think I should for the benefit and safety of other Forumners:

1) The term "director" does not mean anything. ALL doctors have that "director" title from the 2 clinics he came from

2) wonjin told me he has "many experiances in wonjin". But records show online that he (My assigned doctor) was still a doctor at Y&T clinic as of Dec 2012.
This means that earliest he could have been in wonjin is Jan 2013

3) and about the Y&T clinic: I found out from their clinic that they do not perform "tension free epi", a technique that my doctor is supposed to perform on me!!!!

Tension free epi is a new scarless method that released the tension band of the Mongolian fold without cutting out the skin. Y&T clinic's method removes the skin, leaving a scar.

The new method requires a doctor of many experiences. And this fella only has 1 year?? Cause he was still in Y&T as at Dec 2012.

4) he is very unlikely to be a "specialist". Wonjin tried to avoid using the word when they replied me, claiming instead that he has "many experiences" . No title to back that.

5) . I believe that wonjin could not assign me a better person because of the high turnover.

When I compared their English to Korean (updated) page. Over 20 faces were different

6) wonjin was previously listed on a online rating site where people could rate them. I checked and they have removed their name from the site.
Previously they told the public in their blog that they could be found there

7) the eye department has an Euiwon it. Which means "non specialist" (I would not have recognized it if I did not learn Korean. AND THANK GOD for the new policy by the Korean gov)

According to a news article, all clinics run by non specialist doctors have to have a title euiwon added to the end of their name.

They put her under and she never woke up and they decided to prep her mom for surgery without telling her her daughter never woke up,now thats just wrong.
