I did FC at Cinderella over a year ago and want to go for Vline facelift sometime in coming December. I have heard that April 31 is the best but is too expensive. My budget is around 8 million, very confused :s

Hi, Mina1126
What is your plan at April 31 with 8 million?

Hi, Valenrina, the list of hospitals I consider is very similar to yours. Which hospital did you choose if i may ask? I also think about View and Banobagi. I am going to Korea next month and recommended Dr. Yoon(or Yun), so I am going for consultation with him. I’ve heard that he did lots of lifting operations, but I haven’t found any reviews of Dr. Yoon from their homepage yet. I am just waiting for Rachel (consultant)’s reply cos she said she will send me some pictures and reviews of patients who got lifting surgery by him.

I also booked a consultation with Banobagi for V line and nose, but I have heard that Banobagi is not good at doing nose job. They seemed to do well with Let Me In cases, but I don’t think they have doctors good at V line. To be honest, 12 milion Won is quite expensive for V-line surgery. Nose job is also a little expensive there.

I actually thought of boob surgery too, but I give up now because it is too way expensive. Have you done some research on breasts surgery? And I didn’t know that you are having lifting surgery on April 31st.

Hi, may I know where you chose in the end? I'm considering getting a nose job in SG. Can you recommend SG surgeon that is good in Rhinoplasty? Thanks very much.

It may not be this year, I’m thinking 2019’or 2020 when I’m more aged to take full advantage of the facelift benefits haha.

In the end I choose View. But I won’t be going this year. But within in another year’s or two time. I can’t recommend a rhinoplasty surgeon in SG cause I did mine in Korea at Banobagi with Dr Lee. My nose is still not perfect but I caution against the pursuit of perfection. There’s remarkable improvements and I’m just going to stop at that.

I just did consult. Decided to go with View, and planning the surgery probably next year or in two years’ time. Still a little concern about the visible scars around the ears, although all doctors said would be hardly visible when healed, so wanna make sure my skin is more aged and the benefits of the facelift far outweigh the risks of scars.

I decide on View. Compared to Regen, View’s technique has less visible scars. Regen’s go in front of the ear tragus while View’s go behind. View has also given me a very good price, which I can’t really reveal, because it’s really based on individual’s condition and negotiation...

No, I have not thought about breast surgery. I just went for consults at April 31. Anyway the dr who is supposedly very good at lifting left April 31 already. I’ve also decided to go with View, because Dr Yun’s technique goes behind the ear targus, which has less visible scarring than some doctor who goes in front of the targus. In addition, View has given me a very competitive package, with some conditions.

@Valenrina Have you checked out area88? Dr. Lee who used to do facelifts from April31 set up his own clinic. http://area88ps.com/

I'm wondering what you think about elasticum lifting (not PDO thread). Supposedly lasts 5 years compared to full facelift which lasts 10 and PDO which lasts 1-2 years. I don't see many clinics offering this yet. Maybe just the bigger ones so far.

I did an update on my consult in March 2017 where Banobagi recommended elasticum. Said to last 3-5 years. The cost is around 8 mil which is the same as short-scar facelift or partial rhytidectomy. Then I ask myself: would I pay the same price for something that last for 10 years or max 5 years (could be shorter)? Granted there’s less visible scars, but elasticum is non-absorbable, which means complications may also be high. The thread could be taken out, but there goes 8 million. Plus, there’s no real study on LT efficacy. I found an article here but the study is only on 3 months post-op. https://synapse.koreamed.org/Synapse/Data/PDFData/2014AAPS/aap

Thanks for letting me know where Dr Lee moved to. I was seriously considering him if not for the ridiculous price tag from April31 last time, I think was 11-13mil or something like that for just partial rhytidectomy.
