michelleee Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 The story goes like this... I had x2 fat graft with fresh plastic surgery clinic couple of years ago. I didn’t like the way the fat graft looked on my cheeks but they HIGHLY recommended me to do it. So I went ahead with it. Few years down the road, my cheeks still look too bulky and fat so I decide I want to do fat removal on my cheeks. So I went to a few clinics and also back to fresh since they know my situation better. Guess what, they told me that they think my cheeks look too huge too and they recommend fat removal on my cheeks! In the first place, they were the ones who insisted I should inject fats there. Ok nvm, so I asked for a quote and they quote me 2.5 mil for x1 fat removal 2 mil for fat graft with no touch ups, with touch up prolly around 2.5 mil They say I will be able to see a subtle change. Ok fine, that’s kind of what I want.. but the price is kinda crazy especially with the fact that they screwed up my face first! So just today, I decided to ask my Korean friend to help me get a quote before going down. Apparently, the quote was 1.5 mil for X1 fat removal 2.5 mil for X3 fat removal 1.6 for fat graft + touch up! SO THE DIFFERENCE BTW THE LOCAL PRICE AND THE FOREIGNER PRICE IS LIKE NEARLY X2! 3 mil vs 5 mil!!! Unbelievable Considering the fact that they were the ones who screwed up my face in the first place, I am really pissed. The English consultant even said that it was the LOWEST they can go.. 5mil.. Hmmm anyway, does anyone know a Korean translator(preferably lady) I can hire to help me bargain the price? I am sooo done with the English consultant there.. PLEASE HELP ME!!!
Wondermuffin Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Firstly Fresh is very popular with Chinese tourists with deep pockets. Hence you will be overcharged given their rich clientele .sad but true .
mintsweet Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Wow I havent been here for a while but as lipo enthusiast I have been very interested in a few lipo specialists including Fresh, and have seen people posting here with good results D: And all the while I've been contacting Banobagi, 365mc, DAPRS, found out that they all charge more for the foreign patients Sad Sad.... Is is it really impossible to get Korean pricing?? Any other suggestion for liposuction clinic that is good? I have decided to go to Korea this December to do liposuction for face and body
pear-orange Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 From his profile, it seems the doc of Fresh is NOT a board certified plastic surgeon. Maybe he just did general residency surgery or something like that. It's crazy that a non certified plastic surgeon would charge these high prices
mintsweet Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 After reading this I felt so betrayed and doubtful, (I'm following his Instagram and had consultation anyway) so I contacted them and they sent me proof that Dr. Hong is a legit doctor, they took a photo of his certs hanging around his wall. Like he has done all the education and stuff. I dunno what the truth is...? @@@@@
jess-cook Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 Honestly, I prefer to go and do surgery at the clinic with doctors in each treatments. I will not know he is really good surgeon for what surgery if there is only doctor in the clinic. I guess the clinics with lots of doctors in each treatments are more expertised than clinics with only one doctor. Not sure about Fresh clinic due to read so many reviews from people who are not happy with their results with Fresh clinic.#
pear-orange Posted July 8, 2018 Posted July 8, 2018 Here is the link to Dr Hong's profilehttp://engfreshps.com/65 You can see by yourself that he does not state : member of korean society of plastic and reconstructive surgeons or korean association of plastic surgeons. He is a legit doctor but chances are he's not a plastic surgeon, or else why didn't he state his membership of plastic surgery associations on his own website? Check out this page http://www.prskorea.co.kr/English/mobile/sub/sub_02.asp
melly215 Posted July 8, 2018 Posted July 8, 2018 Hey Thanks for this information, you seem to know very well how to find board certified doctors. Are there any other PS that you couldn't find? Especially the ones mentioned on Purse Forum a lot. I am trying to figure out sponsors, PR workers here on this forum.
jess-cook Posted July 8, 2018 Posted July 8, 2018 @pear orange, Thank you for the information about the doctors' certifications and I never knew it if you mentioned this webpage until you mentioned. wow, seems like you know so much about him and how did you know he did not state on his other currier on webpage? Do you know more webpage we can check the doctors' certificates?
lemmetellu Posted July 8, 2018 Posted July 8, 2018 If you have any inkling of a doubt regarding any doctor, I would just find another one. There are so many clinics and countless doctors that you have a ton of choices and don't have to stick with someone who gives you a bad taste in your mouth.
pear-orange Posted July 8, 2018 Posted July 8, 2018 I did come across on some clinic without board certification but I don't remember their names, sorry. But every clinic has a "profile page" on which you can easily read his membership on PS association / society. In case u still suspect the clinic website is lying, you can just ask the consultant on kakao to send you a photo of the surgeon identification card or certificates of membership
pear-orange Posted July 8, 2018 Posted July 8, 2018 Um , i don't quite get what you mean. You ask me how do I know ? I know by reading Fresh clinic's website. I don't know so much about him, i just know what he writes on his own profile. And I don't know what "currier" means
