doubledoubles
Saw a new dentist. She told me you can move your jaw slightly with braces / ortho treatment. Is this true? Note, I'm a grown man.

chinnie
No. Only a tiny bit, and that's only if you have alignment probs and not only overcrowding. You need to go to a maxofacial surgeon they know alot more about the movement of the jaw. I had a full underbite and braces didn't do much, infact my face was longer afterwards! And my teeth moved back years later because the jaw was not aligned like it should have been! Please see a surgeon.
chinnie
Also, if you are grown your bones have definitely fused. You can change the shape while it's still growing but not as an adult
