  2. Have you considered other options? Red light therapy, stem cell scalp treatments, botox for scalp? I know a lot of people thing the only option is a hair transplant and that tends to be more the case for men than women. I have seen women grow back most of their hair with non-surgical methods like the ones mentioned. They are cheaper too!

  4. For anyone that has actually gotten this type of surgery done, how long does it last? Like will the sagging skin eventually return or does it hold up for a long time? An actress from a show I watch was gone for 3 months and came back looking insanely good. She had under her chin and her neck done. She looks 10 years younger now.
  5. Ok! I am glad I asked as I was not sure. I guess I am just not someone that travels enough to know these things. I have only been out of the country 2 other times and it wasn't very far. This would be the furthest I have ever traveled!
  6. So as I mentioned back in March, I was looking for a clinic to do gynecomastia reduction. Since losing weight, I have had an issue with my chest. I contacted a number of clinics and found one that is priced right, they understood what I wanted, and I had gone through the process of an online consultation. My appointment is booked a fair bit in advance. I won't be getting it done until the end of July. So I have just shy of 3 months. I got most of the medical information. I have my flights booked. I am still debating on a few hotels. What else should I do to prepare?

  8. I think it depends on what you want to get done. I have read glowing reviews but I have also spoken with a few people online that said they regretted going here. I would imagine you will find that with all clinics though. What matters most is your own experiences. This includes getting in touch with them. I would start there and see for yourself!
  9. Anything that supports skin cell turnover would be good but depending on where you have the surgery and having open skin wounds matters. I wouldn't use anything on fresh skin straight after surgery, you risk infections!
  10. Exactly. I think more often than not, medication plays a factor here and people need to be aware of them and make sure they speak with their local doctor too before getting any work done. Have you contacted another clinic?
  11. I didn't know this. And you are probably right, I should speak with some doctors. I am sure they go over risks and risk factors based on individual cases. I would imagine some people are more at risk than others too.

  13. Yeah this kind of treatment is SUPER expensive in the states. I have considered it myself. Since Covid, my hair has thinned about 40% and has not come back. I am just going to wait a bit longer before I look into options. I want to make sure the shedding has stopped and get my vitals and hormones checked first. If it is a vitamin or hormone issues, I want to correct that before getting surgery or treatment of any kind on my scalp.
  14. I sent you a DM. I am not sure what the rules are for sharing clinics publicly and don't want to get into any trouble on the forum If you have any other questions, feel free to ask there or in here.
  15. If you are not sure about anything else, just ask on here or join the Discord. You will find someone that can help And don't feel bad for not knowing about this stuff. Most people don't!
  16. Does your clinic reject people for any reason? I am curious to ask another clinic for reasons as to why an appointment would be canceled shortly after making it and a reason not being given as to why. Other than saying it was a risk.
  17. I had considered all of these but I don't feel like they line up with me. Is there a chance they just didn't like me or something? lol It is really bothering me. I did end up e-mailing them again but they never responded.
  18. I actually got declined (in the US) when I was younger. The reason being that the doctor did not want to do the work I wanted because he felt I was too young for it! Some doctors will warn off younger people if they think a surgery would cause more aging in the future. He told me to wait 10 years so I did. I do not regret it.
  19. I have heard of these and in fact my sister uses a pink one. I don't know if that is jade or rose quartz. It might be the latter. Either way, she uses it to put on her serum and swears it makes a difference for her. I will have to get one and try it out. I didn't know this was a Korean beauty trend!
  20. I understand wanting to find the best doctor but even then, these are k-pop artists. They are Korean. Unless you are Korean or some other Asian ethnicity, you would want to find a doctor that specializes in western bone structure.
  21. Hi, are you with the clinic? I am looking into options for getting a neck lift. Curious to see if your clinic offers this and if you have any before and after pictures I can take a look at. I have been on contact with a few clinics and was ready to book and appointment with one but my trip had to be delayed a bit so I have more time to look around at other clinics.
  22. I have actually used a few things they tend to recommend in Korea. This is what got me looking into surgery over there. So the first product is simple and cheap, a jade roller! You can look into the benefits of it. You can buy them on Amazon. The second product is Rejuran Healer Turnover Ampoule. It contains polynucleotides that come from salmon and it helps the skin regenerate faster as well as encourages collagen production.
  23. Okay so it is normal. I just wasn't sure as I am use to working local and have never gone in for work where I had to pay anything ahead of time. I pay the day of which is why I was confused. Thanks everyone for the clarification.
  24. Rediscover a firmer, more youthful version of yourself. Our curated selection of Lifting and Anti-Aging treatments combines cutting-edge medical technology with artistic precision to target sagging skin, fine lines, and volume loss.
  25. Is English the most common second language? It must be, right? I'd imagine this is down to the massive boom America had in the 50s and 60s, everyone wanted to do business with America so English became a standard for international businesses.
  26. This is something I think is worth stressing. Some people recover really fast, some people take much longer. No two bodies handle surgery the same. I have seen some women take a very long time recovering for very simple operations.
  27. Oh this sucks! I was hoping there was a way to find out. I know there are rumors and that all over social media but no concrete evidence or proof. I mean I get it, these pop stars want to keep this stuff private.
  28. I have read and heard tons of positive things online about Korean beauty care. Skin creams, oils, serums, etc. that help skin be more radiant and healthy. I am curious if there are any sort of beauty products that work in conjunction with getting plastic surgery. Has anyone come across something like this?
  29. Can I ask what clinic you went to? You can DM me if you'd like. I am just a bit hesitant with some of them as I have read good things and really bad things for this type of surgery!
