I get it. I wouldn't want to work with a clinic that couldn't speak my language well either. Not for something as serious as surgery!

I have been in touch with the doctor from zero one ps, had a few back and forth sessions and conversations. I have a better idea of pricing and surgery details now. I am still on the fence so I also am reaching out to another clinic I came across on here, pride ps. I have not heard back from them yet however. I am not sure why. It has been almost 2 weeks

So I made a thread awhile back where I said I wanted to get some jaw, eye, and nose work done. After reading up more online, I decided to take this as a one at a time kind of approach and find the best possible surgeon for each. I noticed some clinics focus on one thing over another, so instead of going for a clinic that is larger and offers all three - I want to find smaller clinics that specialize in each one individually. I will just make multiple trips if I have to. I want the best work possible. I am planning on starting with my nose. I was looking at clinics that highlight that they do rhinoplasty. I found one (Zero One PS) that might be decent considering it is a single doctor but the clinic also offers other work too. It just seems the forefront of their best work are nose jobs. So I am considering this place. I just want to know if there is anything I should look for in particular with finding a clinic and doctor that specializes more so on rhinoplasty than other surgeries?

This is a common question, I think I have seen it on the forum a few times. To me, the best months appear to be April, May, September and October. If you want to see the cherry blossoms, April is perfect for that. Also the average temps for both April and May is around 61. It can be humid and raining at times though. If you want to get more clear skies and a bit cooler for temps for walking around, you want the end of the year. I think October is ideal for that.

How are things coming a long for you? I can try to help if you are still stuck. I know how overwhelming this sort of thing can be fore someone new to it. Especially for people that don't travel very often or at all.

One thing I know about Korea is that they are very child-friendly. More than most countries. I would say you can go just about anywhere in Korea and not have to worry unlike in the US. Most issues you would face are for much younger children and seeing as your friend's kids are almost teens, She wouldn't worry too much about traveling with them.

I guess it really depends on what kind of treatment you are after. You have various options. Injections, laser, pressure therapy, scar revision, skin grafting, flap surgeries, microneedling, and cryotherapy. Which are you looking to get done?

I think it depends on what you want to get done. I have read glowing reviews but I have also spoken with a few people online that said they regretted going here. I would imagine you will find that with all clinics though. What matters most is your own experiences. This includes getting in touch with them. I would start there and see for yourself!

Anything that supports skin cell turnover would be good but depending on where you have the surgery and having open skin wounds matters. I wouldn't use anything on fresh skin straight after surgery, you risk infections!

Exactly. I think more often than not, medication plays a factor here and people need to be aware of them and make sure they speak with their local doctor too before getting any work done. Have you contacted another clinic?

Based on what I have looked into, health conditions is a big factor, possible the biggest. So medical issues that would label you a surgery risk. So someone on blood thinners for example are more prone to excessive bleeding and they are considered higher risk.

I was curious about this myself but unfortunately can't find much There were some posts I saw on Instagram on the subject but no solid proof. They are very private over there. Not like here in the US.

So I guess this is the case where clinics have multiple doctors? I noticed some of them only have one doctor. I am just trying to make sure I am finding the right information

I had been in touch with a fairly large clinic about having different work done. I want some jaw area work, eye work, and a nose job. After going back and forth I was able to schedule a virtual talk with one of the doctors and he told me there will be three different doctors who would work on me. Is this normal? Is this considered a red flag? I guess I just had assumed only one doctor would manage everything.
