I went to a few local clinics for rosacea and the cost overall is just too high. I am trying to see if there are any options in Korea for rosacea treatment. It is a very stubborn thing to treat. I have tried prescriptions, creams, lotions, serums, diet changes, etc. but I still have a constant redness to my face with some small broken blood vessels. I also am prone to rosacea acne so I can't even use soap on my face or else I break out really bad. This started for me in 2022 and has not gone away. I was looking into clinics that focus on non-surgical facial rejuvenation and energy/laser‑based skin procedures. One that popped up a number of times was the Dr. Gowoonline Clinic. I am just not seeing much on rosacea. I am not sure if it isn't a common issue in Korea or not. I know it is more common for people of European ethnicity. Does anyone have experience with this clinic specifically for rosacea? Have you found any information online or reviews that show good results? How about costs of treatment? I am trying to basically find any information I can. I intend on contacting the clinic at the end of the week.

I was looking at POP PS and only seen the other one being mentioned so this is helpful. I like to compare reviews and also find personal experiences on social media from people that have actually documented their processes. It helps a lot to see what people had done and see the results for specific surgeries.

Yup. it makes it easier to find more information on it when you get a name for it. You can actually have AI help you navigate things too. At first I got annoyed by AI tools but now I find myself using it all the time.

I want to get a more youthful glow again. I read that a lot of celebrities will use lasers to achieve this and the radiance can last anywhere from 3 to 16 months. I am going to be getting married next year so I would like to time a trip to Korea for a few things. Anyone know what I should look into to achieve this? I was looking at the Dr. Gowoonline Clinic but I am not sure what would be right for me in terms of procedures.

Yeah, there is actually a term for it. A lot of people only learn about it after their first surgery as some doctors may mention it. It is called "Post-Surgical Refinement" and it can be used to manage scaring, refine work, and address residual laxity!

If they mention that they work with foreigners and non-Koreans and have English options for their websites, then yeah they do. Most do but not all of them.

That upper11 skin clinic is said to do this. Correcting old acne scars specifically. The issue I had with this clinic was finding up to date information. A lot of things get lost in translation. While it may be a great clinic, I can't say I would recommend them because of this but you can look into it more. Maybe find someone who knows Korean that can help translate some of the stuff?

So my sister recently went. Like real recent, she just got back last week. I have not seen her in person yet as we live in different areas but I was chatting with her on the phone about her trip. She did plan ahead and gave herself an entire week to have a vacation. Then the surgery week. Then a week following that. So her total trip was 22 days I think.

I know. It does seem to be one of the safer countries for it. I guess they are a bit more strict and have a lot more to lose considering how many clients they get from around the world. The government wants to ensure they keep seeing this for the economy I would imagine.

I am going to look into this more. I had completely forgotten about this but now I want to find out actually where to report such things so people can do the same.

If you find out that this isn't the case, should you report them? If this is a law requirement, I would imagine they would want to know about this. I never knew this was a thing.

Not everyone gets relief from this stuff and do need other options. I have a friend that nothing worked for her and she did laser work and it made it much better. Her skin even looks younger too!

Something I was told awhile back was to go to a local clinic in the country I am in first. Most of the time, you don't pay for a consultation but if you do, it tends to be cheap. You will get a better understanding of what work you want or need done and be better prepared for when you talk to a Korean doctor, especially if this is your first surgery.

I don't know about surgeries but for hormone balancing stuff, you could just go to a regular doctor and they sort that. There is no profit or high requests for it. That is why. Most people that get these surgeries are happy.

I will, thanks again. I have been reading up more on it and it is easing my worried. I was a bit nervous about the surgery in general and was considering putting it off but I think it will be okay. haha
