That I did not know. So this seems like it would be something someone would only do if they are staying in Korea for an extended period. I have more to consider than what I thought. What is the stay limit over there anyways? I think in the US it is 3 months although they allow up to a year so long as you are gone (go back home) for an entire year before you visit again.

Well, just take your time. Do not rush if you feel like it is something you can't manage. You not only want your surgery to be a success but you want to enjoy your trip to Korea. Traveling is one thing, but you will be traveling for medical purposes too.

I don't think it matters too much. Often times, clinics that offer body and face surgeries under the same roof have multiple doctors anyways with some specializing in one or the other. I know a lot of doctors will specially only work on a set of surgeries in general.

I have only heard of one of the ones mentioned. I have no personal experience with any of them. I can't be much help there! BUT I do know that zero one plastic surgery has excellent fat grafting. I have seen a lot of before and afters and know someone from another forum that had work done here. So you can look into their clinic. Outside of narrowing down your search to a list of clinics that offer the surgery, I would make sure you contact each clinic for a walk through process, costs, healing time, etc. and compare those. It helps when deciding which clinic is the best fit!

I am assuming you ended up waiting? I had this dilemma myself but I have found that you have to match whatever season and temps you are comfortable with, no matter where you go... Or you will NOT have a good time!

Specifically with the KSPRS. There are a few other boards as well but this is the top one so I always look into this and check. I have found a number of clinics that were not certified with them.

10 and 12 should be fine in terms of age for travel. Assuming they are well behaved kids. I have traveled with both of my children since they were 3 and 5. I never had any issues. I have been to Korea once as well for a vacation and they loved it there.

So something I had been considering since my teens really is getting my teeth fixed. I have looked into prices and options for what I would need done and it would seem Korea might be the best and most affordable option. I need some implants done as my teeth had badly decayed following my second pregnancy. I had so many vitamin deficiencies that my teeth just fell apart. One of the clinics I found was everm dental clinic but I don't think they actually offer dental implants. It seems they only fix the structure of the jaw and face. I will probably need that as well but I have to get my teeth sorted first. Does anyone know of any clinics that have great dental options for foreigners?

Is this a law in the US as well? I am not sure if they have cameras on operating rooms or not but I guess it makes sense for legal reasons. Can you request a copy of the tape too once the surgery is complete?

You'd be surprised by how many people are overwhelmed. Anything new is overwhelming, especially when it comes to medical related things. I had issues myself. One thing I will say is to trust your gut. If a doctor/clinic doesn't feel right, just find another one. There are TONS of them in Korea.

My sister got lipo. Not in Korea but in the states. She found out the cost differences after the fact. She paid $12,000 in 2019 and the same work would have cost her $8,500 in Korea to give you an idea.

You should be able to go over all that and send it via e-mail before you even travel. Most clinics would prefer to have the information ahead of time anyways and not have to scan physical documents.

I am looking for some information on the specifics of a rib cartilage rhinoplasty operation. One that would extend the nose and make it appear more uniform. I want to know the costs, surgery time, recovery time, etc. in averages for Korea clinics. I am doing a comparison of local clinics for a friend. Any help would be great!
