HI THOANG!!! I'm glad to know that you are ok and recovering well. I have some questions:
1) Why do you have a bump on your forehead?
2) Why do you have blood in your eyes???
I hope you are enjoying your time in Korea Come back to Canada soon!
Hi. You have nice eyes. I don't know if you should do anything to them. Maybe it's all in your head? Double eyelid surgery is not uncommon though. Choose your doctor carefully if you decide to do it.
When you raised your nose tip, did you find that your asymmetrical nostrils are even more visible and asymmetrical looking now than before? Do you regret raising your tip?
Hey friends. I just realized something. Reading these posts, I see that a lot of us are very stressed out over getting procedures done, and then stressed out after the procedures have been done. All this stress, and for what??? I'm sure a lot of you also have exams to worry about too!!!
Hey everyone, I've been doing some research on plastic surgery and uneven nostrils, and it seems that it is quite common to result in uneven nostrils after rhinoplasty whether it is open or closed!!! I wish I knew that before.
Thoang, thank you for sharing your experiences!Though I'd never go that far, it is very interesting to read about! Please keep us updated on your results and how you're doing! Best of luck to you.
Sliverlight, if you break the nasal bones and reset them, you have to make sure that your surgeon knows enough about nasal anatomy that you won't have occluded breathing as a result!!! You should probably go to a plastic surgeon/Ear Nose Throat surgeon.
Sliverlight, I only had my cartilage sculpted at the tip. The front and a bit from the sides, so that it looks less flat. That's all. I didn't use any implant of any sort. That's too high maintenance and too much stress for me.
Whattodo Thankyou so so much for replying. I was getting worried. Yes, at 2 weeks, a dog bumped into my nose tip (the part that was sculpted) when I was petting it, and just yesterday (at 3 weeks) I was taking a walk through the park and petting a Corgi and that short dog bumped into my nose too!!! I was so upset. It wasn't hard but still it hurt both times. I hope nothing happens at week 4. Geez.
Does anyone know how long you have to not hit your nose for after septo-rhinoplasty? A dog bumped into my nose today. It wasn't really a hard bump, but still, it hurt. The same thing happened a week ago. Do you guys have anything experience with post op healing and accidentally hitting your nose?
Sliverlight, Did you research Gortex? Gortex has its own problems. I hope you will think very hard because like you said, you don't really need more problems.
Sliverlight, I read earlier that your silicon implant has been irritating you. In my opinion, you would be better off removing the implant, and doing minor refinements to your nose to make it look nice again.
WHO CARES IF PEOPLE NOTICED YOU HAD A SILICON IMPLANT BEFORE?? You will be feeling healthier and less irritated without it. Besides, you can always say that you just got a nose job now because you thought your nose was too big before and now you wanted it to be smaller, or more "oriental" to fit your face. You don't even have to mention the implant before.
No, it's not symmetrical right now, but that is because I bumped it once and then slept on my side so my nostrils are kind of uneven. I thought that by getting my tip "refined" by the doc, who basically took off some cartilage, would make my nose look better, but right now I don't see a difference and I still notice my nostril asymmetry. In addition, I just read on the internet about people who healed from rhinoplasties and had asymmetry from plastic surgery, so it made me regret ever had done anything to my nose in the first place.
Did you know that after healing from rhinoplasty you can have asymmetries and uneven nostrils, just from uneven healing!!!!!! I've read that on the internet!
