What did those review say? Can u read Korean? Would u mind give the detailed website about the reviews? I would like to hear more about VIP. I kind of decided to go with them, but I have to be extra cautious this time considering this is my fifth nose job. I really want a good result and want it to be the last nose job in my life. I like o&young 's style lot.

Hi all, just out of curiousity, does anyone think the same with me? With VIP clinic's before after photos, all the patients have amazing side profiles for their nose, but the noses are not well defined at the front?

I can fully understand your feeling of being anxious. I am the same when I first discovered this forum. I have found many useful information and very good supports here.

 

Hi with my online consultation, Dr Lee addressed problems of my nose, and gave detailed procedures of how to correct those problems. It was a very good consultation and I did not get the same service from another famous doctor in Korea even I went to visit him face to face. I am sure the consultation will build up your confidence with the Dr. hope this helps

 

Hi Milk, sorry about the late reply. I am going in December. With your accomodation, you really need ask JoAnn for help,let her know you want to save your budget by staying in the office-hotel. I am sure she will help you out if there are something available. I will use rib carilage for my entire nose. I will also have a paranasal argumentation together with my nose job, as I am looking for a dramatic change, I need something on my face to balance with my new nose.

We must have made the right choice. I confirmed with JoAnn and she gave me two weeks' accommodation as well! I have gone through four nose jobs and this is the very first time I have 100 percent confidence and faith in a doctor. I will let u know if I can change the date a bit earlier. So we can keep each other accompany

 

Congratualtions, I am contacting VIP now and thinking of going to them for a revision in December as well. JoAnn told me in December office hotel is fully booked. So did you get the free accomodation? How much will your surgery cost, you can PM me if you want to. Would love to hear from you.

hey missd111, I am just trying to put things together and get ready for my Korean trip. Still hesitate in which material I should use? Rib or Gore-tex. I had Gore-tex twice and didn't have any isssue with it. But I really want this is my last surgery. Imagine the stress and worry you have to put up with.My doctor told me that Dr Jung would do whatever I need. I will let everyone know how I go with him and which material he suggests. Not sure I will be able to meet up for coffee, since my face will be swellon

 

thank you for sharing cotton77. Good to know that you are happy with your nose. Normally we pursuit a high bridge, but sometime high bridge looks weired on asian faces. I think the best result is that looks natural and suits you.

 

hi Arrow 77, congratulations. If you are satisfied with your nose at day 3, I am sure you will love it more and more Since once the swellen is gone, it appears more natural.

 

Yes, you are right, it was really a frustrated and stressful process for me.I used L shape silicone in 1997 but in 2008 my tip area start to be a bit sore so I took it out and replaced it with Goretex and ear cartilage for my tip.but my doctor did not do a good job, my tip area was crooked so the same doctor did a revision for me one week later, now my problem is my tip area and gortex area has a gap, so from certain light my nose look like two seperate part. I think my doctor must feel very guilty about my nose, so he sent me to go to Korea where his teacher doctor Jung is. I will have my surgery cost covered but have to put up with travelling cost. Anyway, as long as he can do a good job, money is not a major issue. I have thought about rib before, but my doctor warned me that rib might be wrapping. I am still considering of using gortex. But I will talk with dr Jung see what he recommends, if rib is the case, then i will use rib. How many days did you stay in Korea, did you remember how long does it take for the swellon disappear? is one week enough?

 

I will be in Seoul next week and will have my nose revision with Doctor Jung, I have heard many good stuff about him, hopefully he will do a good job on me. I will let you know if the result is satisfactory. The only thing I am hesitated on is that I heard that they have training course on the date I am suppose to have my surgery, which means that there gonna be another 10 more doctors to observe the my surgery. Do you think it is a good thing or bad thing. I just don't want anyone else touch my nose other than him. Cos I already had it done three times

 

Hi guys, I am a Chinese female living in Australia, I am going to Korea Seoul to get a nose revision by Dr Jung next week. I know it is a short notice, but still wondering whether there are anyone interested to go together so we can share the accommodation and look after each other. Cheers.
