  1. Hey Congratulations and thanks for updating! I was thinking about getting the lateral eye surgery too, but recovery sounds worse than the nj surgeries people post on here.
Hope your swelling goes down fast, so you can see how great you will really look

  2. wishing you the best! Just have your questions ready and trust your instincts! happy travels!

  3. This is what they quoted me:
    vline 15,000,000-16,000,000
    xygoma reduction 7,500,000-8,000,000 korea won
    fat graft 4,500,000-5,000,000

I think one extra day is okay to keep the stitches in. I guess it would have been a nice Christmas gift to have the stitches out.
In re: to other post, I'm from LA, so not looking forward to the long flight and being away from home during the holidays  but yes, if i am there at the same time, I'd love to meet up for morale support. I am nervous having to recover, in a country where i don't know the language.

  4. Wow, u r so lucky u have nice eyes to not need surgery! If I do decide on following through this year, I will be in Korea around the time you will be there. Right now, I m about 70% sure I will be going in December. Otherwise, I will wait until the spring.

  5. Thanks so much for sharing. Wish u the best recovery and even better results:biggrin:!
Omg, ur detailed post reconfirmed my worst fear. I love water. I drink about 3 liters a day. I am so nervous of not being able to have it after surgery.

Well best of luck to you, hope u will give us an update on how happy you are with having surgery.

  6. O you're welcome  I started reading the first forum without realizing i should have taken some notes, so now I'm just curious to c how many satisfied/unsatisfied PS forumers there are.
I'm curious, have u visited any PS in your country? Have you compiled questions to ask the doctors when you get to korea?

  7. It is always nice to hear a great report back
    I'm glad u r healing well

  8. Idk which are the best clinics  I will post all the surgeries ppl said they've done after I'm done w rereading the 1st post and then you can decide which ones u will wanna check out. Remember though, the surgeries that I will compile into a list, could have come from marketers or forumers who might gain $ or free surgeries from their positive experience from that doctor/clinic.
So give me about a week and i will post up a list where u can read about which forumer had what done and where. I am trying to give myself only an hr a day to this site, but it is so addicting.

  9. Yes, definitely just a pinch of salt. As far as *****77, i agree he did offer a lot of surgical advice, so as I reread it all, if I do things from him that will b helpful, ie hotel stay, how to help reduce swelling, etc I will repost the pg, so that others can read.
As far as marketers, there was 1 forumer in particular, who struck me as odd because she would enter once in awhile and add to peoples wanting to know about a particular surgery by saying she had xxxxxx done, then a few hundred posts later, someone else will talk about another surgery n then she would reply saying she had xxxxx done by the same clinic. And then again with another surgery she would promote the same clinic. Seemed kind of odd to me.
I think a lot of us see/read these real stories of famous stars and hope that the same transformations will happen to us. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but I am thinking these amazing results as far and few in between.

  10. Well for me re: VIP before I started looking into PS in korea, I consulted w a board certified ps in beverly hills for double eye surgery n then maybe a nj bcause his nj b/a were excellent. He said he cud do it, but he honestly told me he doesn't do much of those types of eye surgeries. That's y Istarted to look into ps in korea. But wen vip quoted me prices, I thoughtt their cost of a nj, plus cost of travel will be the same as this ps in beverly hills. So that's y I crossed vip off my list. If Iwas gonna spend all that $ for a nj I might as well get the follow up care in LA. I really need my eyes done first anyways.

Right now, I am rereading the entire 1st thread of the best ps in korea. I'm on pg 70 n it is almost a let down. It is a lot of forumers repeating what the previous have stated. Many forumers reading maybe the first 30pgs n trying to go by that. So a lot of repetion. I just joined this forum 5 days ago and was really excited. I realized, I too, sounded a lot like the other forumers when they first joined choosing from the limited clinics that were posted. Now I'm focusing on the forumers who've said they've actually had surgeries done. There haven't been many. I think in the 70pgs/apprx 1000 posts, there has been around 30 and a few of those sound fishy or have been deactivated. So i really hope no one takes these forums too seriously. It is really sad bcuz we really don't have anyone to turn to if we don't know/have someone translate for us. I have tons of friends who r fluent in Korean, but I'm too embarrassed to ask them for help. Yes, my loss.

I'm still trying to find info on Grand bcuz in all my emails sent to various clinics, their suggestions were exactly my concerns as well. I basically sent my pics to all the clinics n asked them what they thought I needed. Grand said everything that I was thinking, minus one surgery that I think I do need, but maybe they couldnt tell from the photo I sent. I am looking for eyes, fat grating, and genioplasty. Then maybe on another trip, I will focus on nj n maybe vline. I'm not gonna lie, but for a brief moment I did think I could do all these changes (vline, nj, eyes, genio, etc) at once to save $ m n hope to look like these beautiful korean stars. Silly right? Right now I'm reading these sites for different names of clinics n then I will check them out during my visit.

Well I wish u the best of luck. This experience has made me realize 1. it is my face that I seriously need to b worried about 2. That I shudnt try to do too much at one time to save $. I'm not from that country, so I need realize I won't have the follow ups like those who live there.

I think we can limit the # of ppl who get sponsored by clinics n try to sway our thoughts from coming onto this forum by not mentioning their names when we go for consultations cuz then they can't get a cut.
As for translators, I'm thinking, if we do our research we can ask these translators to take us to the places we want to go to not the places where they suggest. As far as marketers, Ithink Ispotted a cpl who sound like they work straight for these clinics, Iguess we just gotta weed them out wen we read their postings.

  11. Does anyone know how to start a new thread and i guess, if it is even okay for me to do the following: My goal is to read the entire Best Plastic Surgery Clinics in Korea and jot down which subscribers had surgery, where, with who, what type, and if they were satisfied. So far, I've read up to pg45 w over #663 posts, there 24 forumers who said they did various surgeries in Korea. Some of whose account reads deactivated. I will include the page and the thread # as well, for u to read up on their surgeries cuz i am not sure if I understand all the forumers correctly n bcuz u can see which forumer was deactivated as well.

I will also post the pgs n post # of where we can find websites of different clinics/highlights or experiences of others (Marir was super nice to post a buncha places, so I just wanna consolidate everything so that we don't have to keep shuffling through that long post).

Msg me to tell me how to start a new link or if it is even possible bcuz I don't wanna add unnecessary posts to this link bcuz then it'll get long like the other one n difficult to navigate thru. It's probably gonna take me a week or so to compile everything since I only have about an hr a day to read through it.

  12. Hey,
VIP told me I had to do the exact same procedures they told u, ptosis correction, nj using rib n mid face augmentation, but then they added 2 more things, but said they'd go w the 1st 3 things first.

  13. I don't wear tape yet because it is not that bad, a little asymmetrical. I had my procedure done with a Korean dr in the US for cheaper than what that place quoted you. But this was several years ago.

  14. I haven't done any major surgeries either. New to this forum too, so w8ing for more responses from the drs.
U sound like me w the nonincisional. I'm planning on going to fix my double eyelid/ptosis, but now the drs r suggesting so many other things :/
Cheekbone, they told me 10days in korea for recovery, assuming it goes well, I guess.
Sounds like a lot r going to korea soon, so just stay on the forum to see everyones b/a pics.

  15. Well like all of u, I realize all the new ppl who join this thread, all name the same few clinics, probably gotten their choices from reading this thread. Marir`s post on other PS clinics was an eye-opener to how much we really don't know bout all the clinics avail.
Idk if anyone feels like I do , but I wanted to do as much surgeries as possible cuz flying to korea ain't cheap, but at the same time I'm worried that I will look so different.
Does anyone remember reading on the previous thread whether or not someone went to 2 clinics during their short stay? I like genio from 1 clinic, but I like a nj from another.
Also, does anyone remember what surgeries were performed on the girl who went to GRAND and felt rushed into her decision n now is disappointed. Do u remember what dr. performed the surgery on her? I got a quote back n while it sounds good, I can't even get on a website to see b/a pictures.

  16. I'm so happy for ya!! I luv that only day 11 n no one can tell u just had ps!
Well happy recovery  n plz plz plz keep us posted on ur pre-op n ur liking of ur new nose

  17. Hey thanks so much for posting ur email. Price looks totally reasonable for the first 2 methods.
Fyi: I had non-incisional a few yrs back but bcuz of age (n I'm not that old lol) my lid on one side is drooping over the fold now. Didn't happen to my friends or cuzins who also got it done by the same dr, just mine bcuz of how my lids r naturally. Something to ask the drs if that's the route u were thinking of taking.

  18. :biggrin::biggrin:

Dang girl!! That's some impressive research! U kno wat tho, u will totally b able to achieve the look u want w that kind of research. Plus u`ll prolly b able to get a gr8 deal w whacha want done. Makes me sooo sooo excited for ya!
O I want the loveband surgery too. I used to have it in hschool, many many yrs ago. Lol
Re u wanting the zygoma surgery. Can u explain it a bit. I don't understand what it is. I look at b4/after pics n it doesn't really look different to me. Id luv the v-line too, but I haven't had a dr suggest it yet. M I supposed to ask for it specifically cuz so far the cpl replies I've gotten have not suggested it.
Nose job: I really really wud like one, altho Idont really really need it. I just think the drs there know how to make it cute. The reason y I'm a bit reluctant is all the revisions I keep reading about on this forum. R nj something where u have to upkeep every so many yrs? Cuz I keep reading bout changing implants.
U r so lucky u have ur guy to help u w the translating part. My good friend who is fluent in Korean told me to w8 til she goes to korea, but I don't really want her to know all that I want done. She says I'm fine the way I am, so id be too embarrassed to ask her. I guess PS is still on the hush hush here in the States.
I guess I will go ahead n contact zoe. Even if she did get a cut, id feel comfortable just having someone there to accompany me.
O how I wish we cud find out where the korean female celebrities have gone. As common as PS is in Korea, a lot of actresses don't really admit that they've undergone any n if they did, they certainly r not saying where hehehe
Well keep us posted. I think I'm doing mine at the end of the yr.

  19. @babii namky
Congrats on ur eyes/nose procedures. I so want to do those together, but I'm afraid I will come out a totally new person n no one will recognise me.
Hope u r recovering well! Can't w8 to hear bout ur experience.

    @fantasyface
I won't b able to make it wen u go. I think u n sassy77 were planning to go around the same time. I will definitely b here to cheer u guys on  as the days r getting closer, I'm getting more apprehensive.

  20. Hey shugs xo
Did Oz, Grand, n Banobagi give u a quote for ur procedures? I emailed 2 of them, but they haven't responded yet.

  21. Hey Marir
My "thank u" never got posted for getting a new pswd for the Naver website. Never got to use it, but really appreciate the effort anyways.

I know i am being redundant now, but what type of surgery r u planning on getting. I thought i had my list of drs down, but w all this promoting/advertising of clinics/doctors idk now.

Do u know if Zoe the translator mite be getting a $ cut too? I feel like im back to the beginning again. a bit frustrating.

  22. Well I guess I don't need vline cuz I got a third reply today n again this dr didn't suggest it.
I hear ya on being our own worst critic, well I used to b til I started sending my pics to these ps clinics. Lol now they've become my own worst critic. Lol

Wow, 25 yrs w the same implant sounds good. I liked that ID has 2 surgeons specializing on different features n both will work on u on the same day.

Well lmk what they tell ya.
