  1. I actually consulted with Dr. Charles Lee today. He said he has done revisions for cases similar to mine, but, never for bones that have been separated for 4 years and never for cases where no plates where ever used. He actually told me it's very unheard of not to use plates at all, what happens, usually is that the surgeons use plates but then they are not strong enough.

Does anybody know anything about this clinic?

  2. This guy is in Korea? Dr. Lee from the face dental?

  3. Right after I had surgery in Korea, I noticed clicking sounds in my face. It was very scary. As the swelling started coming down, I could see shadows/depressions where there are gaps and the whole face was sagging. I emailed the doctor (I had returned home, in the US) and he kept saying that it's normal, that in 25 years he never had a non-union and that I had to be patient. He also told me not to get CAT scan because I would get cancer. Every day, people who knew me, were commenting on how much older I looked. I am not exaggerating, I look 15 years older after this surgery because of the sagging, the unnatural contours and the shadows and the periosteoum damage. I then went to another doctor in the US who told me to immediately get a CAT scan. I got the cat scan and I saw the damage. Huge gaps in my bones, dislocation, midface descent, bone resportion. I cannot tell you how devastated I was. Now I understand why that bastard didn't want me to get a cat scan: a cat scan showed how horrible the surgery went. I felt so so so depressed and to this day, I do. I haven't used make up anymore since that day, haven't gone to a hair salon since I can't look at my face anymore.

Do you think there is a surgeon in the US who can fix this? I have consulted craniofacial surgeons who do major reconstructions for patients with trauma, bones missing after accidents, etc, but they see they have never seen a case like this.

As for Dr. Lee, I saw him a couple of times for botox, he was very good with the botox but he seems to rush patients. I want to see if he can fix me, but, how do I know if he is being honest? I have had a horrible horrible horrible experience in Korea and know many other patients who got similar experiences. Some of them disappeared and I am afraid they might have committed suicide.

  4. You friend is obviously misinformed. I went to several clinics in Korea, and, in three of them there were surgeons who were 22 and 23 who were doing actual surgeries. I talked to them. I asked them and they proudly told me they were 22/23 because they probably thought they were geniuses for being young surgeons. There is no way in hell that Koreans surgeons go through the same training, residency as US doctors. A Korean MD is not the equivalent of a US MD, that is why a lot of immigrants from Korea do not see their medical degrees convalidated here in the US.

  5. Hello, as you remember from my previous post, I had a horrible surgery result from a reputable clinic in Korea. Some troll individual cast doubt upon the veracity of my post. The cheekbones should NOT be left like that. They should be fused together and they should be in the anatomical position. The masseter muscles are extremely strong. When you chew, when you yawn, the masseter muscles pull down the zygomatic arches. nonunion.JPGimage (8).png

In these years, I did a lot of research and found out there are hundreds of patients who had horrible results in Korea, even patients who do not necessarily post here. I think that in Korea they do not have the same standards they have in the US. Of course, there are bad doctors in the US too, but, I have been to 7 clinic in Korea and I can tell the surgeons are not as meticulous, careful and detail-oriented as US surgeons. Consider that in Korea you can perform surgery at 22. In the US, you have to go through very extensive training to perform surgeries. The worst part about Korean clinics is that their before and after pictures look NOTHING like reality. I met in real life some of the patients who had surgeries and wow, I am shocked at how different they look. So, be very very careful. I would like to stay in the US and I am trying to see if Dr. Charles Lee or Dr. Kimberly Lee can help me. I am attaching another image to show you my my face keeps aging and this surgery aged me literally 15 years.

  6. I checked under supplementary information and I do not see any video

  7. thank you, I agree with you. The guy from Texas who replied seems worth a consult. I sent him my cat scan but he has been out of the country and also, since this botched surgery, I spent so much money and I have anxiety traveling. But, if he can fix it, I will fly to Houston. The thing is that this is very unique. It's not like a sport injury that causes fracture. My cheekbones have been separated for a long time.

  8. wow, thank you so much, this is exactly what I need. I have consulted dozens of craniofacial surgeons in the US and they say it's very difficult to fix and they can't fix it. The problem is that they fix common facial fractures, but, for this case, they say it's different. I wonder if I need bone grafts. The pictures you sent are from the article? which doctor corrected those ladies in the picture?

  9. you need to see me in real life 3d to see how botched I am, in pictures you can't really appreciate the deformity. In real life, it's obvious. I am telling the name of the clinic to people via pm, but I am being harassed, that is not right, did you read that crazy person
s message accusing me of making things up? I already posted on realself and only one person replied. here https://www.realself.com/question/calabasas-ca-zygomatic-union-sagging?utm_content=noanswer&rsuid=3304650&utm_source=Sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=dr.author.answer-user_authored_question#7505585

  10. I cannot tell you how devastated I am. When I had surgery in 2014, I researched various doctors and the doctor I ended up choosing was the only one writing in English properly and answering questions very promptly. Now, will I need a facelift? How are they going to plate and ufse the bone together? The cause is not too much bone cut, the cause is that the masseter muscles, when you chew or yawn, pull the zygomatic arches down/ It's horrible. The surgeon said he has never seen a case like mine and it's the first time. What a load of crap/ He told me that you should never use plates and screw because that's dangerous and unnecessary. I found out only later that this is not true. So, which doctor can help me resolve this?

  11. please pm me and we can exchange information. I need to find a doctor who can fix this, but I would prefer to have it done in the US.

  12. how dare you. you go eat sh**t, you dumbf**k I did not tell the doctor to create huge gaps in my cheekbone, you stupid idiot

  13. who is dr. H? I have no idea who he is.

  14. I do not know where to start. I found this forum researching. I had cheekbone reduction in 2014 in one of the most reputable clinics in Korea. The surgeon who performed zygomatic reduction guaranteed that in 24 years, he had never had a complication from zygomatic reduction. I ended up with huge gaps in my bones and facial sagging. This surgery aged me 15 years, I am not kidding. My whole facial contours are completely destroyed. I am beyond devastated, especially because now, I can't find a surgeon in the US who is able to fix this. They say they treat facial fractures, but, have never seen a case like mine. I cry every single day. I look absolutely deformed and horrible in real life. I am attaching some images from the cat scan
