  1. lady1import. How long did it take you to heal? was it painful afterwards and how long were you under for? do you sharing which doctor you went to? Will the doctor tell you the different placements they can do for breast implants and different types of silicons use? I was looking on Chalres Lee website and he said that placing the implant while making a cut in the nipple area is best for asian patients and wont cause that much scarring. Can u shed some light on that if that is true? So you got yours done under which muscle? near the armpit?

  2. Shot up the nose? that sounds painful....i thought they were suppose to give u a shot in the arm so you can fall asleep. I want to get boob implants as well but im gonna try to gain some weight and see if they get bigger lol. Asiandoll, if you already have nice breasts, dont change them!! First, they wont feel as soft anymore, you have to go through the painful recovery, and you might have to change them later. But yea, if i do decide to get breast implants, i wanna go to Dr.Chuang but im afraid that its such a serious procedure that i will need to bring someone along to take care of me:sad:

  3. hey guys! so its been almost three months since my surgery. my nose is doing fine but i dont really like my eyelashes. Most of it has fallen off and i dont think its growing back. The ones that are still on are very sparse and long looking and it just looks out of place. I regret having eyelashes done because i have to trim it and when people look at me when im looking down, it looks like spider legs. I kinda just wanna pull all them out and damage it so they wont grow back. I rather use fake eyelash extensions then have these in. It was so not worth almost one grand getting it done. So when i use mascara it just looks funny because the hairs that he implanted stick in different directions and its hard to tame them. Wat's done is done, the one thing i keep thinking about is i coud've saved my one grand to use towards my debt or bills.

Im not saying dr jong did a bad job, in the beginning one of my eye had more hairs and was the same direction then the other eye and it didnt look so bad, but now it seems most of the hair has died and i only have like a few on each eye, which does look very appealing at all! Im thinking about either getting another session done or just totally pulling out my implanted lashes and ruin the roots so they wont grow anymore. Results vary for different people, Maskd had good results and i dont. So maybe it just depends on the weakness of my hair and how i take care of it.

  4. oh yea dr.tseng seems to do similar noses on different faces. Dr chuang does a nose that fits your face more. Personally, from what i heard about Tseng. It is 50/50. He has skill but i dont know if he would do a nose that fits your face compare to just a pretty nose on any face. He also doesn't like doing alar i dont think. Pretty much if he doesnt do something and you ask him, he will say no whereas dr chuang does practically everything to improve shape of your nose.

  5. HI, i had one befor photo in there i dont know if you noticed, the caption on it is "blah". I dont have a before side profile, but it was pretty much flatter at the bridge and then my tip kind of stuck out more like a saddle nose. My bridge was pretty flat and my nose was short and upturn. it is less upturned now but still projects out and i had the curve to begin with. I told him i wanted to keep the curve, otherwise i think he wou;d've made it more straight if i wanted him to.

  6. Thanks Alot! yea i lucked out haha, he made mine very natural indeed. I love it! I think i have thick skin, im not sure, he didnt tell me. Dr chuang is a very good surgeon and if he places the implant right, it wont extrude or anything, dont worry. Usually asians have thick skin that can hold implants. Also i told him i wanted to place the implant right in between my eyesbrows because i didnt want it to start like where my forehead is because that would look too fake on me. He told me if i wanted high bridge then place the implant higher then the spot between my eyes/eyebrows but i told him i wanted a medium height, not too fake or high lookoing.

  7. Perez hilton, wats ur email? ill send it to u thru that. As for dr chuang and wat type of nose he makes. He will definitely suggest what will look good for your face but also take what you like in consideration. I brought him a cd with pictures on it and he told me that i like natural bridges. I told him that i wanted to make my tip more upturn n not witch like. He said if he makes my bridge too high that will pull my eyes together too much n make me look angry all the time. So i got a 4.5 mm implant and i believe he said it will shrink 1mm, so my nose is 3.5mm and watever else it was before. I think my nose suits me perfect it is not too high or too low. I will also update with pictures soon since my nose heal alot now. Make sure u r clear on what nose u like because even if he suggest it wont look natural or watever but u tell him u really want it, he will do it for u. So heed his advice. As for the model in ur link, Chuang CAN definitely make a nose like that! In the picture when she looked down, her tip doesnt look that pointy or defined. Mine looks better (not trying to sound conceited) As for height, that is easy.

  8. Beauty, wow u r so brave with all those procedures! Hope ur surgery is a success! In my opinion,i just got nose done and people have said i look different. I look more mix now instead of just full asian. If you are getting both eyes and nose done, u will probably look different from ur oldself. I dont know if u just want to improve or change ur look altogether. For me, i just wanted an improvement with my nose and at first i looked very mixed but now as the swelling and everything went down i look more like myself. I just want you to be prepared to look "different" because usually when people get both eyes and nose they dont look the same anymore. Im not saying its bad that they dont look the same, it just depends on wat kind of results they wanted. I hope u have someone to take care of u overseas. Who are u going with? PM me if youre going by urself, i have a suggestion.

  9. Hey no proble! Glad ur staying longer. SO how long are you expecting to stay? Yes his nose jbs on his page are not that nice and the ones from the book when you get there are the same ones on the site. I was kind of nervous too. My nose turned out very pretty and natural though and other people on this forum that got their nose done by Chuang also like the shape of their nose. I dont know why he doesnt post better pictures on his site. Anywho, he will make a nose to fit your face. When i saw him in person, he told me my nose was very short and small so i thought he wouldnt be able to do it or something. But it turned out very natural and just slightly longer at the tip. It wasnt too long though and my nose is still considered "small" which matches my face since my face is really short and small lol. I was afraid that he would make my nose too long for my face and therefore it would look out of place. He did very good work with me and also listens to what you want and also suggest what will look good on your face. He told me if i got it too high, it will pull my eyes together too much, then i would have a high nose but look angry all the time haha. If uw ant to see my pics email me for the password and the link to it is a few pages back i believe or just search my posts.

  10. Hmm, well i got nose and eyelash implant done. The nose made my eyes sooooo swollen but it went down alot after like 5 days. When i went to the airport on the 8th day, i still had yellow/greenis bruising on the two sides of my jaw and the inner corners of my eyes and a little below my eye. Also my bf said i looked like a mannequin lol. My face looked really tight and i couldnt really smile or talk with much enthusiasm. What type of method are you getting done for ur double eyelids? I heard some people say that at first your lids look much higher then its actually suppose to be and it is also bruised. Im pretty sure you can cover it up with makeup though. But i dont know about going back to school so early after surgery because even with makeup, upclose people can see that you look funny and you migth feel self-concious about your face. I went back to school about 3 and a half weeks after surgery and i still didnt feel "normal" yet. I believe that the eyes take longer to heal because of the noticeable bruising. As for nose you've just got to wait for the swelling to go down but strangers cant tell that your nose is swollen though.

  11. Hey beauty07! i just wanted to express my opinion on you leaving for 7 days after surgery. If you are getting nose, Dr.Chuang suggested i stay 8 days. Get stitch removal the 7th day after surgery. Also since you're getting alot of procedures done, i dont know if you'll be ready to go back to school so soon. Trust me people WILL be able to tell because it is still too soon. Have u considered going at a different time when u will be able to recover longer?

  12. Hey Guys!!

Havent been on here for a while but tomorrow will be my one month post-op for nose surgery with Dr. Chuang.

The outcome is very good, my nose looks really natural. Some people cant tell that i got it done, they just said i look different and ask if i changed my hair or something haha. At first, i was not used to it because i felt like i looked uglier then before and i was also afraid that i would not look like ME anymore. But now at one month, im starting to resemble my old self alot more, just with a better nose. SO i feel alot happier and cant wait for my tip to deswell some more. My scars are healing ok i think. I have alot of dry skin around the two sides of my nostrils (near the alar scars) and my tip and it itches sometimes. I dont know if that's normal? Anyone have the same side effects as me? Oh, yea Keenose, i asked about your alar scars and he suggested to just keep the area clean (wipe it with q-tip and saline solution) and dont scratch it and let it heal naturally. How is your scars looking right now? did the hole get smaller? I've just been cleaning the area with q-tip everyday to keep it clean, so right now it seems to be healing ok. Best of luck to u in your healing process!

Oh yea i dont know if you girls know this but DO NOT eat shrimp or beef while you're recovering from nose surgery. Particularly shrimp because it can make your scars raised and make your meat stick out according to my mom. Dont eat crab also. Fish is ok but not tuna. Ive been mostly eating pork and chicken. You can have a little bit of beef i believe but try not to eat too much of it. Stay away from shrimp at all cost!!

I also got eyelash implants!!! They are sooo long!!! they havent started falling off yet so i dont know how long it is suppose to take to fall out and grow back but i notice little red bumps along my lash line and its itching which is suppose to indicate that they are going to grow soon but then the lashes that he implanted in havent fallen off yet. Some of them fall off when i try to clean my eye, So i dunno if those are going to grow back or not? Maskd, I need your help! lol, I dont know if i can wear mascara or not yet? but can u tell me what happened in your situation? Also the lashes dont look straight anymore, they point in all different directions now and look kind of messy. Is that normal? Overall, the eyelash implant surgery hurt the most becuz the anethesia only worked on me for 15 minutes then i started feeling it. It was really uncomfortable and it took about 1 hr on each eye i think. My eyes were reallly really swollen from the nose surgery the day before so maybe that could be the reason.

If u have any questions about nose / eyelash u can ask me and i will be happy to help!

Im still deciding if im going to post pictures because when i take pictures, my nose tip looks so big on camera but in person it is not, so it gives an inaccurate picture of wat my nose really looks like, maybe ill wait for the tip to deswell a little bit more then decide if i want to post pics.

  13. Hi Keenose,

Just try to keep your head up and stay positive. I'm sure the holes will fade away since after the stitches are taken out, its not healed up yet. Your skin might be really sensitive and its taking a while for your skin to generate and grow back over the hole. How long has it been? So did he tell you to use Mederma in taipei after the operation, or when u complained about the scars later? Do you use any face wash with saclylic acid in it? maybe thats causing the bumpiness and redness. Also, maybe try a skin color bandaid to cover the hole so dirt wont get in? But i know you dont wanna walk around with a bandaid on your nose:nogood:Other then that, just try to wait it out and see if the holes get smaller by day. Have u been taking multivatims and drinking pineapple? it helps in healing.

  14. Hi Keenose! when i go to dr.chuang, i will ask about u and if thats common and see if theres any advice he can give you to help it look and heal better. Did he tell you that it was normal to have a "hole" or give u possible reasons why it is there? or did the nurses not do a careful job of taking out the stitches, creating the space of the hole? And is the hole suppose to just heal itself? I wonder wat could've cause your skin to be bumpy and have a hole.:confused1:
