Are you back at home now? how long has it been since your sugery? how long did ur surgery take overall? did you do general anethesia? did u get ur eyes too?? did u bring pictures in to show him wat u like? im thinking if i should bring in pictures of noses that i DONT like also just to make sure he doesnt make it look like that, haha. How did your alar reduction look and did he just lengthen the middle part between your nostrils or lengethen your nostrils and made them less visible too? sorry i have so many questions lol....but thank you for sharing with us your experience!

Yes, but he usually prefers septal cartilage from your nose but he can use ear as well if you want in combination with goretex/silicon implant.

 

I am going around the 11thh of december. When were you planning to go? Did you choose goretex or silicon before?

Hey Mask, Dr. Chuang quoted me 70000 TWD for gortex, does that include fees and anethesia or will I have to pay extra for those thigns? Also, does Deja Vu hotel accept credit cards and did u make a reservation online or when you got there?

Keenose - good luck on your surgery! wat are all you're getting done? and how long are u staying? Im planning to go in december around the 13th, is anyone going around that time? My sister is suppose to go with me but she might bail out, and so i need someone to go with me who is from the states. Im going to dr chuang in december too..how much is ur surgeries going to cost? I dont know how long it is until you can wear contact lenses, just ask the dr. by email.

Mask, did the dr. that did your eyelash implants speak english? because since im going to taiwan, i might as well get that done also. Do you think that Dr. Chuang is as good as some of the korean doctors in Korea?

I wonder why he doesnt post good pics on his website, but thanks for all the info, im considering taiwan now as a choice along with Korea. I emailed Dr.Park of Ozclinic and he replied back with helpful email. I also emailed dr.Chuang and dr.Kim of BK but they havent replied to me yet. Dr.Park did a virtual surgery photo on my picture and the results look good but i dont know how accurate that is to the actual surgery results, do u know?

Oh ok, thanks so much! i browsed through wishclinic's site today but i saw that many of Dr.Chuang's nose jobs dont look that much different from the original, it doesnt look like alot of improvement. Does he show you better before and after pics once you are at consultation with him?

No, he is not famous or anything but he is a vietnamese doctor name peter nguyen. Hey what is the full name of the famous Dr. Kim from BK Clinic? because they have like five doctors by the last name. My friend is not Korean, I have some Korean friends but I rather not involve them in this, haha, so i already told my friend about my traveling to Korea and he said hell go with me. But the more the merrier! How is your eye doing by the way?? has the swelling decrease?

No, im from the east coast, but my mom and a few people that i know got their nose done in Cali. I mean most of them look good, and my mom's nose looks good too. But she did not ask for an implant, just to build bridge up, so its not as high as it would be with an implant...from the front, it looks good, but when she smiles, i dont feel like he did enough with the nostrils, i think he could've reduce them more. And the others, their noses look pretty good, but never got the chance to really look at it too close.

Anywho, i think he is around 3,000...but that was a few years ago so he might charge more today. I just feel more confortable getting it done by a surgeon who has alot alot of experience.

I do not speak Korean, and i was gonna make my friend tag along with me, even though hes not korean...lol...but if any of you are going around the same time, i am , we can all go together. Oh yea, i dont know when yet,but hopefully soon, i'm trying to save up money right now!

Hi, i am new to this forum and also saving up money to get a nose job and double eyelid + epicanthy.
My original plan was to go to an asian doctor in California, but after reading this thread, i've decided that i want to go to Korea, because they are number one in nose/eye surgery.
This thread is very helpful and i have learn more info here versus searching the internet. So thank you all!
