  1. Pm me a pic and I will help. Also when you do the consult, ask what they recommend. If they recommend things that you obviously don't need or want, do not go there. Consult several clinics, you should see a pattern in what is recommended most and it should be the solution to your areas of concern. Also research the different procedures and exactly what is done and what the outcomes are.

  2. Madam Butter
I don't know what your musculature looks like without a photo, but have you considered custom made cheek implants? Rather than removing the bone

  3. I am a student nurse who has worked in acute care/surgery with previous experience about 7 years total. So many orthopedic have had titanium pins, plates, screws etc that I can't even estimate it. There's not much to fear with the titanium hardware.

And yes, now there are polymer type hardware that can dissolve over time! It's pretty cool. You should ask your clinic if they use this kind.

  4. You might be able too, but definitely tell both clinics of your intention to do this. I know that it is better to have time for your liver to clear anesthetic out of your system before getting more. For example, tumescent fluid is a mix of lidocaine, epinephrine, and saline that is commonly used as a local anesthetic. You can only have about 50ml*kg of this fluid at one time before you risk toxicity, you would have to wait for your body to clear it to have more. This is just one example of an anesthetic drug's pharmacological profile, there are many different types with different profiles (you would be under general anesthetic for vline). Therefore one week may be enough time in between depending on the chosen drugs' profile. Also, you have to avoiddrug interactions. Therefore communication between your clinics is very important. And there are other things like lab values (blood count, etc) that would need to be in check before the second surgery, also assessed for things like airway risk.

As far as diet, as long as you at the same calories and nutrients recommended for fat transferr I don't see how the liquid diet would be an issue.

I hoped I help you and didn't scare you! Just telling you what I know

  5. Unfortunately I'm in the same situation as you haha. I have been looking at Opera and Pitangui as far as value for westerners, Mina looked very nice but too expensive.
Right now probably Opera is still at the top of my list. But they aren't considered "rhino specialists". There's a lot of good information on great rhino docs here! Just gotta dig a little. I hear banobagi is supposed to be a good rhino place?

And I am having a rhino but also chin and eyes.

  6. That's good to hear. Hm maybe I will reconsider. I decided not to go with dream. They were really expensive and they are on the blacklist. Opera is also on the blacklist, but they are now my top choice... Similar price quote as pitangui but specialize in facial contouring. I contacted TFD too but not a response yet. My biggest thing is I don't want to look like a dollface, so I'm trying to pick clinics that know how to do western faces but the b & a pics are limited on the sites, and very few causasians. Pitangui looks like they can do the natural look though! I have till March though so plenty of time to decide.

Do most people here do the in person consults the same time as the trip? I sorta want to do this so I can go to multiple clinics and compare but I have 3 areas + fat grafts to do and will probably have to schedule in advance :/ And it's gonna be hard enough to request leave from work as it is for "elective surgery overseas" , I don't have time to wait once I get there.

  7. You were right I just needed a little patience

I am having tip+bridge rhino, ptosis, chin reduction and facial fat graft. These are a lot of procedures so I have been asking clinics if and when they need notification. Most said about 1-1.5 months, which I find reasonable based on my experience in PS America, we only booked cases quickly during low season or if we had a cancelation and usually for a small procedure.

Also, I want the best surgeon and for him to be happy and prepared since it will take half his day. Opera is has about convinced me to go there and they asked for the advanced notice to be about a month (I would have Dr Kwon). It'difficult because I want my surgery scheduled in advance but I will only be able to go to Korea once since it's difficult for me to take off work! Therefore I wouldn't be able to do the in person surgical consultation ahead of time, I will have to make the decision before I even see these clinics!!

  8. I assisted a liposuction surgeon in the past. I can answer some questions about that.

We didn't use vaser or smartlipo. He worked with smartlipo years before I was there but he hated it. He uses a nutational power assisted device. Meaning it just vibrates to disrupt the fat. He didnt like laser lipo because of risk of burns and trauma to tissues. The technique of the surgeon is important because they can only heat up the skin so much with each pass to prevent burns, but I guess some surgeons have got that down. One issue with lipo is cannula diameter. If you want to get closer to the skin the diameter has to be smaller, and ever then if you don't leave a small layer of fat severe dumpling can occur. Another thing worth mentioning is that all surgeons tend to remove only about 2 lbs of fat per area max before you are charged additionally. That's regardless of what surgeon you go too, in the US anyway. Really the most important thing is fine someone who has a lot of experience with the tool he is using, whichever that is, that's the most important. I hope that helps.

  9. I like the nose result but I know you pictured it differen I am sorry. Maybe it could be reversed? Yes gng was on my list but when we did the consult they wanted to shave my cheekbones which are very flat, and doesn't look good on a white girl with a long face. Definitely we're not paying attention to me or my picture. I ran!
I think I am choosing Opera. They have an insane discount and I had a perfect consultation. I just don't know what the consensus is on that clinic
