  1. I'm still a bit confused about how skin sags. Does it drop and create wrinkles or it shrinks like an old apple?

  2. I have to agree with you. Advices and warnings are extremely helpful, but all the "Don't do it it's a mistake you will sag guaranteed no good comes out of zygoma reduction" etc I've been told when I talk about zygoma reduction are just discouraging and not helpful.

  3. I hope it'll turn out ok for me too! I strongly believe that I'm a good candidate and I'm also 22, will be 23 when I do it in 2 months. Hopefully the god of skin will bless me, haha.

  4. Thank you SO much for the heads-up. However I think I'll take this tradeoff because my cheekbone is already making me look 5+ years older at least. I'll try to take as good care as possible and will be ready for the sagging to avoid bad surprise. Hope things will turn out okay for you!

  5. You mean all these posts are from a fake account created by a View person only to harm GNG? I don't think so... Did you even read through her other posts? The phone number above is also on GNG hospital website.
Plus, I've also read the full version of the article you mentioned, and I don't think FieryCucumber is anywhere on that article. Isn't it freshcucumber or something? I think you need to fact check carefully.

  6. i THINK it's around March-May and Sept-Nov. As far as I know, school breaks (summer break, winter break, etc) and holidays time are normally more busy. I am one of those who can only go during holidays break so I'm gonna be a part of that crowd for sure. hehe

  7. I just edited my reply haha. If you have more time for recovery (say you can stay up to 3-4 weeks), I think you can consult and book a date during that trip. However for me (and OP), I can't stay for longer than 2 weeks. Also it depends on the procedure you're doing. Some doesn't need that much downtime. I'll do facial contouring that's why I want to stay post op as long as I could. If you're doing simpler surgery it shouldn't be a problem I think.

  8. No. That's why most people (and myself included) try to arrange to come in 2 trips. One for consultation at different clinics then decide and deposit, one for surgery. I'm from Asia too so travelling was easy for my case.
I also only have 14 days to stay for my surgery trip so I don't want to spend 1-3 first days for consultation & waiting for available dates. However if you come in low season you might not have to wait (or if you're lucky). I'll come in high season (early January) that's why I arranged another trip last month and then paid for deposit beforehand. When I arrive in Korea next time, I'll do my surgery the next day.

  9. I have problems with BOA a lot of time when I was a student in the US and went shopping in foreign countries/home country too. Back to Asia now, cash cash cash all the way. LOL

  10. I have to agree with kiwimuffin. You can use the search bar in this forum and search for "fat grafting" and "thread lift" to see others' experience with these procedures. You will not likely get a lot of good clinics' names out of this thread.

  11. Thank you so much! I got my 50% back first because I wanted to make sure. The refund process was not at all easy or pleasant. I'm a bit shocked at how they deal with refunds, given their great reputation.

  12. Yes I went with Dr. Kim and contacted again to let him know I want to do more than just fixing my protruding zygoma. After I insist that I want the most perfect face line & face ratio I can achieve, he agreed that I can do v-line and proposed me with a quite similar plan. Though as I said I didn't like asking doctors to do this or that, however I think it's important to let them know what I want exactly.
The problem with JUM was their limited English (little to none English of the consultants, Dr. Lee Jumin's english is enough for communication but not sufficient for surgery wise). Plus they only allow de-swelling treatment once or twice a week, which does not benefit us foreigners who'll be stay for 1-2 weeks only.

Sure! I'd be glad to share any research I've had so far.

  13. Thanks for your reply! I've messaged them yesterday, waiting for their response. I can't do lipo because the main purpose of my trip is for facial contouring, which already required GA so I can't go through another GA. Your LAMS result look amazing! Was their price straightforward or should I negotiate?

  14. Thank you for the info! I’ll be in contact with them. The only info they sent me along with their account was that the sender should bear all transfer fees. It’s my bad I assumed it’s refundable; I’ll try to reach out and see what options I have. Since the only mean of contact is Kakao and email, I’m afraid they can just ignore me. Sigh.

  15. Thank you so much for your input, due to some reasons I also got a partial of my deposit back and planning to go to another clinic. Are you planning to have another surgery?

  16. Is there any medical law in SK about deposit? I put my deposit at a clinic for a surgery months away (2 months to be exact), they never mentioned anything about it being non-refundable. 2 days after making the deposit, I asked if I can get it back but they say cancellation fee is 50% and only 50% is refundable. This was not mentioned upfront. A lot of other clinics I know refund until 2 weeks or so before surgery.

I asked on another forum and was told "The law specifically states that a clinic can create its own deposit refund policy, it can be time based or a percentage based refund that corresponds to certain periods of advanced notice (2 weeks, 1 week, 3 days, 72 hours, 24 hours, same day, etc...), or be non-refundable whatsoever. But they must have provided you with some reasonable informed consent (email, signed document, detailed text) about the cancellation policy and its penalties. If they did not do this, then you are entitled to the full refund."

Is it true and is there anything can be done about this? Thanks all for your input!

  17. Thanks for your review! I'm wanting to do a thigh stomach, back & arm LAMS too. But knowing that you cried during the stomach LAMS scares me T_T I think I also have low pain tolerance. Do you think it's possible to do all 3 or 4 at once? I'm waiting for a response from 365mc so wanting to ask past patients. Also because I'll be doing LAMS after my face surgery, do you think I'll be able to take it  thanks ya
