Hi guys, planning my trip to Seoul for consultation only before deciding where I'm going to have my zygoma surgery at. I'm thinking about going to 5-6 clinic for consultation (Namu - dr Kirk, EU - dr Kim, TFD - dr Lee, View - general consutation, JK - general consultation, Dream - dr Kim). Will 1 full day be enough or should I spare another day?
Is each consultation gonna last 1hr (less or more)? For the 3D CT scanning etc, I'm thinking about only do it at one place and bring a copy/CD/whatever provided to the next clinic to save myself sometimes. Is it ok or I'll have to scan at the clinic for the doctor to consult?
Also, does anyone has a suggestion of other clinics I should also consider? I see ID and Banobagi a lot on the forum but it's also on the blacklist so I kinda hesitated.
I thought it was gonna be a quick and simple surgery but reading people's negative experience about the procedure got me really stressed about which doctor I should go with because I'm really satisfied with my natural structure (face/jaw) right now. The only problem is the cheekbone otherwise my face (maxilla?) is rather small. I'd hate myself if this goes wrong and ruin everything T_T
Hi, did you considered other clinic before choosing Namu? I'm planning to have my zygoma reduction too. I was going with The face dental, but now I'm starting to lean toward Namu because of their After care. Was wondering if it's a wise choice since TFD seems to have good reputation in FC.
Hi, I've read other thread and it seems like you recommended TFD (DR. LEE) in Korea. I'm a bit confusing now seeing these posts. Did you change your mind about TFD? if yes, what happened? I'm considering to have my zygoma surgery with Dr Lee at TFD (or eudental or namu - all in Seoul Korea). Not all of us have the time to travel half way around the world to the US for surgery (sadly), not to mention all the paperworks required to simply obtain a visa. Thanks in advance!
As the title mentioned, I'm a 23 female interested only in zygoma surgery this November. After digging this forum, I've narrowed down my options to EUDental or TFD. However, I'm still really in between the 2 clinics, especially since the most discussed surgery at these 2 clinics are for 2 jaws surgery, not zygoma.
For those of you who chose one instead of the other, may I know your reason why you chose it and if you're happy with your surgery result? Reading the posts I'm leaning towards TFD more, however EUdental surgeon Dr. Kim graduated from Yonsei, which is a higher ranking university in Korea (and also more well known for plastic surgery), isn't it? Is it an important factor I should consider?
I'm also interested in the facilities (how new/modern/clean/etc) are these 2 places compared to each other? I've only been consulting online and will probably only fly to Seoul for the surgery so it would help a lot if I could hear more from those who has already experienced.
(I also considered Dream Medical Group at first but it seems like I should stick to a specialized clinic rather than a do-it-all hospital. Any ideas?)
Thanks so much!
Edit: I'm kinda really all-in on this one so the pricing difference is a minor factor if the higher price is worth it.
