I got an estimate of my surgeries for revision today and it’s so expensive I want to cry!!!!
There’s 2 phases as I said
1 remove two wisdom teeth. Two lower teeth, possibly a Coracoid bone where dr oh messed up and it’s limiting my jaw opening
Then braces
Then two jaw surgery
This is costing over 100,000 dollars !!!!!
If medical insurance doesn’t have an expection to two jaw surgery it can possibly be half covered by insurance for the surgery
Not the braces or the wisdom teeth etc
this is over 2 years and it is not a joke
Dr oh and Suyen haven’t replied to me in over 2 weeks and won’t give me the reports

 

I saw my pcp today about my neck swelling she thinks it’s just my submandibular glands exposed and from Dr. Oh overcutting my jawline! She agrees she can see how it looks swollen from far away and he over cut
She ordered me an ultrasound to be on the safe side and I will have it tomorrow
I hate dr oh so much !

If they were good doctors they would tell you to leave yourself alone but of course they are money hungry and will suggest two jaw surgery to anyone and feed on their insecurity to get 25 million won.

 

Yes Dr. Oh from Regen is horrible and botched my face up. He and his staff do not respond to me. I asked over 2 weeks ago for my operative and consent forms and have yet to receive them.
He illegally gave me a v-line. I didnt consent to it. I'm left with no jaw structure.
He doesn't talk to you after surgery.
I have a upper and lower jaw that is too far backward and he caused me to have a severely narrow airway, with obstructive sleep apnea and choking.
Yes I am scared about the sagging too.
Everyone please be careful about these procedures they are dangerous.

 

it is not safe for two jaw surgery, they use a no tie technique that no one else uses. Also people have committed suicide and I have felt this way too

No plastic surgeon should be doing Two jaw surgery

only do two jaw surgery if you have a functional problem

It’s better not to go to doc finder because they said you have to give them your passport info and only after you agree then they will reveal the clinic names to you. But the dr and clinic is most important

My jaw is botched and they don’t really care how you want to look they have one look they produce

My jaw, I got an abscess in my gum area for a week going into sepsis, moved my upper and lower jaw far too backward , made my genioplasty too short, swollen neck, choking episodes , severely narrow airway , obstructive sleep apnea, numbness , tightness , limited jaw opening , gum recession , replacement of veneers, anterior open bite (his rubber band and wires didn’t work) , need revision surgery , pain and suffering with depression and suicidal ideation , withholding my operative and consent forms , refusing to talk to me

Everyone needs to stay away from him

They are ignoring Me and I recently read a new review on two jaw v line and zygoma for dr oh posted 3 days ago. It was very generic and fake sounding . They said he’s the best ever and he is compassionate and replies to you. She even said Suyen is so nice and takes care of you like family and the nurses and staff are wonderful . She said she’d give dr oh her bank account and let him charge her whatever he wanted. That is a big joke Suyen has ignored me for weeks and dr oh doesn’t allow his patients to talk to him after
The “nurses” are not real nurses and don’t care about you it’s really dirty there too. Looks like they send people to write a review to deflect mine
Also he said you’re not supposed to get two jaw and zygoma together so why did he do hers together ? Fishy

 

Thanks I think they can but my surgeon. Is out of network so I think at most 50% which is stressful
I need the best surgeon and can’t go with anyone just because it’s covered this is a serious surgery and I can’t go through it again after the 2nd time

 

I have been researching how to get it but don’t want to talk about legal stuff here. But yes I heard the percentage is low to win

yes it was this week when I get my ct scan and truly saw how narrow my airway was I was so scared. My partner told me I was snoring so loudly and gasping for air at night like 30 seconds not breathing and every night but I didn’t take it seriously until I saw the airway so narrow and got even more upset about what dr oh did to me!
obstructive sleep apnea can lead to early death , stroke , heart attack , also my narrow airway is also narrowing my esophagus explaining my frequent choking episodes. One day I could choke to death!
yes Suyen has ignored me for two weeks and won’t produce the documents
My new surgeon has worked on revisions from South Korea. I felt better that he can fix me but it will take 2 years. I don’t really want to see my family or friends and 2 years is long but I have to do it right and get the orthodontics first and no shortcuts

Dr oh collected his money and ignored me since I really don’t know what he was thinking by moving my jaws back so far and not considering my airway !
people with severe obstructive slee apnea get mandibular maxillar advancement which is what my two jaw will do advance it back to open my airway

I didn’t decide for sure for my surgeon and want to go on a few consultations in June after covid allows it but I do really like this new surgeon

 

Hi this is the type of jaw implant they showed me because the no tie two jaw surgery in Korea makes vertical cuts vs the American way is to fixate the lower jaw and slide it forward and the cuts are more lower along the jaw line my new surgeon said my jaw should look normal by just moving it forward even though dr oh cut off all my jaw line he didn’t think I should do anything about the lost bone there and he thinks we should leave my genioplasty alone even though it’s a bit short but he thinks by the counterclockwise move my chin should lengthen

The custom jaw implant is for just one area like the tmj area and it is 30,000 for a pair but it isn’t changing the jaw line he sawed off
If you look at South Korea no tie two jaw surgery they make a vertical break in your lower jaw and it’s there that it is making it difficult to redo the jaw surgery because it can be fragile when we have to go back and make another fracture
Suyen’s awful she’s ignored me for two weeks now

I think she is feeling much better now since getting some fillers and buccal fat removed but this takes some years to get better.

All of South Korean plastic surgeons are probably not bad but there are some really cruel ones like Dr. Oh who has one design for his patients and pretends he's listening but goes behind your back when you're asleeep under anethesia. he cut off her chin bone and my jaw bones, without our consent.

it's good we have this forum so we can see which big hospitals and doctors to avoid.

 

I'm glad you had a positive experience and did the right research. I was fixated on Dr. Oh after I saw BonQui Qui blog post once and thought he was the best. I didn't really consider other clinics. I really should've done more research.

I'm still wondering if a ghost surgeon operated on me. I really dont know why he would move my jaws so backward and my chin farhter back than before.

Thanks I will be positive and make sure I go with the best surgeon. It's a long road to get fixed but I have things to live for. He's set back my life a few years though

Thank you, yes the Plastic Surgery Association tells you to look up your surgeon and check their status, so it is still important. I would not want go to someone who is suspended and not even know the real reason.
Yes I tried to be nice to Dr. Oh and Suyen for many many months. They kept saying my face was swollen and I would be fine. But I know my chin is moving and my mouth isnt moving so it is backward. I tried to post one earlier in February but I said I was suicidal and my post got blocked on realself and they gave me a 1-800 national suicide hotline number. Then I tried to give Dr. Oh a chance but again their treatment really upset me. The last straw was one I had to beg to talk to Dr. Oh on the phone or else I would be posting my real self review in 24 hours, then Suyen quickly acted and brought the telephone to Dr. Oh. I told him I didn't look normal and all the problems I had and I needed a refund. He was yelling over my voice and said that is exactly why I dont talk to patients and didnt want to talk to you, you don't listen you just want to yell. I said I'm not yelling, I'm telling you something is seriously wrong, and also you sawed my jaw off without my consent and my neck is swollen, and my jaw is setback too far and I talked to other surgeons who agreed. Then he said in 1 year youre going to look so good. I said give me a refund he said youre asking met o give money to you, what about what are you sending me in 1 year?? I said what are you talking why would i ever send you money. I already gave you 25,000 dollars and my partner paid you 10,000 for a botched job, he said you should send me double the amount in 1 year. What a crazy person. THen he handed the phone off to Suyen. She said I must get back to the patients who are here for consultation. I said oh you're ruining more people's lives , you have a horrible job and need to find a new one!
There wasnt anything I needed his guidance on anymore so I posted my review.
Yes I am going to do a sleepy study I talked with my Pulmnologist who believes I have Sleep apnea. he said it's serious.

Hi yes he has positive reviews on realself but my partner and I put our review there too so you can read it , it’s about 10% negative. Yes the building is the tall building with big letters in Gangnam
It’s pretty old inside and even the operating tables are ancient
I don’t think they use a real anesthesiologists because I asked to talk to them after my tooth got knocked out and they didn’t locate them for me.

He really should not be doing two jaw surgery. He is not a oral and maxilofacial surgeon. He is using a metal device to plan and measure your face which is very ancient times. He plans your surgery in 1 week. That is absurd.
Now I have to plan my surgery for 1.5 years. This is the normal way.He is operating on people with no functional problems and purely aesthetics which is criminal. He upsells and makes people feel insecure. And he illegally performs procedures without their consent. I was unconscious!

I can't keep blaming myself or thinking of the past. I got tricked into photoshop and wanting to look more beautiful. I truly believed him.
Still no reply from him or Suyen. Also I've been warned they are probably modifying my records so its probably not even what was written.

Im not sure he’s medical license is suspended but for some reason he is suspended of qualification which that association of plastic surgery won’t tell you why or what he did. But he should get his hospital shut down
