Thanks for informing. Are you planning to lower the crease or smth. After reading a review that she/he is not satisfied with her revision des at Dream. I decided to remove Dream from my list. I am planning to do revision next year so I will continue researching. Thanks

Hi I am considering Dream plastic surgery with dr yoo won jae since he is specialist at incision des. But I don’t see any review or pics about dr yoo. I remove dream from my list after consulting them with online consultation. If I fully open my eyes are eyelashes are turning upward (unnaturally) and view said that eyelashes would normally turn up after des. A women did her revision des at view and she post a pic ( here in forum ). When you look carefully at her eyes, her eyelashes are turning really upward. i should mention that im a guy so I can't wear make ups or anything, and I don't like having the fact that people can look and say oh you got something done.

so i had ptosis surgery, and made my eyes back to single eyelids. however, my eyes can't close all the way and I need help to get more skin in to my eyelids so they close and look natural, you can sometimes see white part above my pupils which is disturbing.

i know that people put fat grafting on eyelids which I should do since so much fat was taken out, and fat grafting seems more permanent than fillers since I don't live in Korea, I might as well get fat grafting done on eyelids. However, I don't know if such skin grafting exists, and I feel that it maybe bad since it's more for burned victims etc so it may not look natural!

any recommendations?

So today is the one month mark update. So far I'm really pleased with my result. Although my left eye is a little more bruised then my right, I'm confident that it looks really good and finally gaining my confidence my back. Yes, this was a revision case, and from my experience this time, although eye surgery is a very common one, it is also a very delicate surgery. Dr. Yoo Won Jae spent nearly 4 hours on my eyes for both double eyelid revision and epicanthoplasty. Fat graft was much easier, and the whole surgery was less than 30 minutes or less and Dr. Park did a great job. I did lose some volume from the first day I started but that's expected. One way I can tell I retained it is that people can't point out what I exactly did but they are saying my nose looks bigger, and I have less wrinkles (Fat graft can work as a botox on your forehead, or at least for me). However one thing to note that, when you go in for consultation, you have to make sure your consultant and doctors are on the same page.

Dream is really good, but I couldn't get my lateral canthopexy done because on the day of the surgery Dr. Yoo said he wouldn't perform it on me. He said because of his beauty ideals, but there are other doctors at Dream like Dr. Anna and Dr. Cho who perform lateral canthopexy perhaps more than Dr. Yoo. It seem like Dr. Yoo takes practical approach and didn't want me to have complications. But now I think of it, if I performed lateral canthopexy, he would have been performing for hours (maybe up to 7 hours?), and he had one more person after me so it also made sense for me now. I did bring this up with Ms. Lee and one of the consultant there, and they were confused at first since I didn't have any stitches on my lateral sides, and I had to tell them he infact didn't perform on me. Since I already paid for the surgery, I decided to come back next year and get it when I get my fat graft touch up with Dr. Park, and of course without payment since I already paid for it. I'm going to contact Dream and Ms. Lee about my lateral canthopexy agreement soon and I will let you guys know how it goes and how I get treated because this is very important as a patient and this will let us know about their post op treatment towards their patients. I am willing to wait a year but definitely not paying for the surgery I already previously paid for. Anyways, I'm still a bit swollen so I'm putting green tea bag on my eyes at night to reduce swelling as well as putting kelacote for scar and the antibacterial ointment they gave me as well. I'm also considering doing acculift and perhaps quick zygoma with Dr. Kim if he performs it. Let me know if you guys have anymore questions.

For eyes it depends if u had incisional or non incisional. If u did incisional eyes previously he won't do your revision cos he only does the non incisional method.

Nose wise you can message lavinfiend, mrslucky, imei or vanillacreme they all had their nose done there. Vanilla's is i believe she went to Park for her third revision for a contracted nose and he fixed the problem.

I'm still searching for clinics to fix my nose and jawline since they both shave it off when I didn't even ask them to. I'm not into v shape or whatever the Korean beauty standard is. My lips don't closed at rest so I've search up on google to see what it's called. I have a chin ptosis so if anyone that have the same problem as me and got someone to fix it please let me know. They denied to fix me saying wait a year. So wait a year I went back they say it's because of the first doctor so I went to the first doctor and the first say it's the second doctor! That's Dream and Id for you. I need a bigger jawline and chin ptosis specialist but it seems like doctors in Korea only like v shape.

I stayed there for 10 days but that time isn’t have the promotion but I am happy to pay becuase it’s cheaper than the hotels I booked. It’s 50,000won. And I feel that if you have a major surgery, it’s good to stay there so they can check in on you.

They also provide after care treatment which is just a lift away, at least you don’t have to walk down the streets with the bandage on and your face swelling.

Dr. Park is a conservative surgeon . He would preserve the structure of your septum as much as he can without a lot of manipulation .
His standard endonasal rhinoplasty is I shape ultra soft silicon for bridge augmentation and SEG ( septal Extention graft ) for tip lengthening and ear cartilage graft for the tip for extra definition .

If you are seeking for a natural results , he is the man.
But if you are expecting a more projected tip close to a wester tip, then you need to find a different surgeon . Dr. Park does not like " operated " look . Either that or he does not know how to sculp one since a few other fellow Dream patients who receive a rhinoplasty from him have similar results like mine .

I am not completely satisfied with mine . But Dr. Park and I have been discussing my plan for a touch up .

Have you met him ?

As for my eyes , I think he did a very good job . I would recommend him for non incisional des .

But to be fair to other clinics , DES is such a popular procedure in Korea . There are many other good surgeons that can easily produce just as good DES .

As for pricing . Mine was both a revision. I had a small simple tipplasty and des ages ago. So if this is your primary case , your pricing would be lower than mine .

I wanted to post an update on the eyes. It has been now almost one year since my revision surgery to lower the fold.

The fold is lower, it is much smaller than before but there is still deep pretty unsightly scarring when I close my eyes. Dr. Kang I believe did "scar revision" and whatever his method for scar revision is, it does not have a natural result. I did not ask for scar revision, however I believe he performed that, where the scar is suppose to hide under the crease. Well, the scar is hidden under the crease.. but people do blink their eyes and it is quite noticeable and does not look as nice as my first double eyelid surgery where there is a gentle line crease. This is a deep indented strange fold scar.

The way to double eyelids fold also is very strange, it is a double eyelid where the skin over hangs on the crease and doesn't move at all. It's completely static and your eyes slide in and out into the fold. This would look okay if you're caucasian with a high nose bridge but for asians.. I do not think this works. Especially when I smile or talk with my eyes, because the top skin over hangs the eyelid crease, my eyes look expressionless or even a resting b***face because they just sit there.

and lastly, asymmetry.. my eyes are asymmetrical, and while like other posters, a little asymmetry is ok, i think one eye needs to be revised because the asymmetry is very bad. It is not a tapered crease, one eye, the crease begins away from my inner corner and when I smile the crease doesn't move but my cheeks push my eyes up and makes one eye completely unnatural. No harmony with my face!

Dr Kang has good intentions, but his method for revision needs to be harmonious with a patient's facial structure. It isn't lowering the fold to what the patient wants. He can do this because he excise skin below the the fold and sews it together. And while it is a quick fix to making a fold smaller, the excise in skin actually pulls your eyelids more UP, so you have more of your sclera and pupils showing than what is natural. So you have this wide eye look, look carefully at his photos, the before and afters.. you'll notice all the after photos, the eyelids and eyes seem pulled up and retracted. I notice now a days how dry my eyes feel because even tho he said he wouldn't excise skin for my procedure, clearly he excised a good amount of skin to lower my fold.

If I could go back in time, I most likely would not have done revision with Dr Kang if I knew all the complications his method created. I only went in with the end result in mind, naively thinking it look just like my first surgery but lower. And while it doesn't look completely horrible.. my first surgery with a higher fold was more harmonious and suitable for my face.

For all you ladies out there looking for a revision for puffy high eyelids, if it is something you can live with and looks good for you but just a little high, I would recommend against revision. Revision creates more issues than resolving anything. If something occurred during your primary surgery and MUST be addressed, eg. dry eyes, severe asymmetry, severe scarring, infection, in those cases I think revision is necessary. But for those of you ladies seeking a revision to lower a fold, if you can love the way you look and accept it.. I'd say stay away from revision! You are beautiful exactly as you are.

Some people asked me if I have got infection bec my eyelids are puffy. I did my revision des in local clinic last year

I think to a point this is subjective and as with any procedure, the style of the surgeon is important. We also gotta learn how to communicate with the surgeon. If you tell a surgeon you want natural but your desired end results is significantly different to your current facial feature and the surgeon is stylistically conservative, then you might want to tell the surgeon you want a dramatic result. Ive had girls send me pix of koreans on instagram saying that they like the "natural result" of those said individuals. But at first glance to me, those aesthetic are towards a more dramatic nature as asians do not typically are features like that. So the way we communicate our wants are very important too

I just want to check in and update you guys. I am now 10 days post op. I had my two jaw surgery and V-line at ID Hospital July 5 with Dr. Lee Seok Jae.

Pre Surgery day:
So, I was informed not to eat and drink anything after midnight. I took my last meal around 5pm, and instead of eating something very very delicious like it will be my last meal I opt to eat something healthy like fish and vegetables (choose white meat instead of fatty red meat). I avoided anything oily and fatty. I have read an article that it is best to avoid that type of food before surgery because it will be good for recovery. I stopped drinking water at 10pm. I made sure I have my protein shake, water, juice, yogurt drinks, and pumpkin juice ready for me for after surgery.

Surgery day:
My surgery time is 10am but I have to be there at 9am because the doctor will meet me again before the surgery which was nice. We went over the surgery plan one last time and he asked me if I have any more questions or concerns he asked if I was nervous and he just made me feel that everything will be ok. He said the first night will be tough but it will get better. In my case, he had to tie my teeth because my bone was thin and for my safety, he suggested to not do no-tie surgery for me which I was ok with. The translator was there the whole time and they guided me on what to do. I changed my clothes and I was ready for surgery. When I walked into the surgery room there were at least 3 nurses or surgical assistant as far as i can remember and the anesthesiologist. I didn't feel nervous or scared because they look so prepared and they were gentle with me and probably because I already trust my doctor (I think it is so important to build that trust and relationship between the patient and doctor). I laid down and then the next thing I know is I hear the nurse's voice waking me up hehe. All done! I think it took 3-4 hours

Post-Op:
I was transferred to the ward and the nurses were so prompt and efficient in changing my ice pack and whenever I hit the call light button they were there right away. The doctor came to visit me just to check how I was doing and he again explained what to expect especially the first night. He wasn't kidding. The first night was tough. I can't drink any liquid because I still have a drainage tube in my mouth. I also have an airway tube in my nose. It was hard to breathe because of the bleedy nose and secretions in my mouth. the nurses were there to clean and change the gauze in my nose and mouth and kept me clean. They also suctioned the secretions to help me with my breathing. I was scared because I have no one with me but when I called the nurse and held her hand I told her to please stay with me for a moment because I was scared and she did. I asked her to not close my door and for some reason, I was really hot and I asked the nurses to change the temperature so many times (I felt like I was very needy but they were nice). To my surprise they brought a fan inside my room which i really appreciate because it shows how much they care and they just wanted me to be comfortable. My advice would be to focus on your BREATHING. it is so important to do right after the surgery. The next day they removed the tube in my nose and the doctor removed the drainage tube in my mouth. After that everything felt so much better. They continued to monitor me until I can walk on my own. I was good at changing my ice pack and walking around the ward. I also washed my mouth every hour or two.
To my surprise: they brought a deswelling treatment light and mask and I got treatment twice during my stay in my room. (i didn't expect that which was nice).
Discharge day: The doctor came in to check me before discharge and then the nurse explained where to get my prescriptions. They also gave me a care packet with skincare and mask that will help for deswelling. they gave me my compression band and extra ice pack to take home. The nurse was so cute she said I did so well and as she said goodbye to me she hugged me and walked me to the elevator.

At the hotel:
I made sure that i follow the routine that i have been doing in the hospital when i was back in my hotel. I set alarm for all my medications and I made sure that I drink water, pumpkin juice, and a protein shake. Every time I drink something I made sure to wash and gargle my mouth right way. This is very important if you want to heal properly and recover well take these steps seriously. I think after two days I had to go back for a deswelling treatment and then doctors check up and then treatment again.

I am on my 10th day right now as I'm writing this and I have some photos to share my progress.
I wanted to share my experience with you guys and my journey because I know how it feels to look for credible reviews and to have someone to answer your questions or just to find something that can help you get an idea of the process. Overall, I am so happy because they definitely exceeded my expectations. (Thanks to the bad reviews or negative comments) I didn't expect so much I was happy with my doctor and he definitely gained my trust and everything else was a plus! I was so grateful for the way the nurses cared for me and the staff, it was a complete package!!! Ahhh I can't express how happy I am and I can say that this is one of the best decisions I have made in my life. SOOO WORTH IT!!! I can't wait to see the end result. I can already tell the difference and sometimes I just wake up andIi can't believe my bite is fixed and i look much better. Still swollen but its a process. hehehe Im still washing my mouth every 2 hours and everytime i drink something. This week my stitches will be removed. Il try to go back here and update you guys when i can. I hope this helps.

Although I do like their work and the dr was so nice replying directly to me through kakaotalk. I feel their work is really subtle. As I’m looking to make my face more slimmer and smaller. However I’m still going to this place as an option for consultation in person.

View plastic surgery:
V line includes side jaw reduction : 7 ml krw
and front chin Genioplasty. 7 ml krw

-Revision case : additional costs about 1,500,000KRW.

Double jaw surgery costs 16,000,000KRW.
For double jaw surgery, we need to make your wafer which costs additional 1,500,000KRW.
You might need to get orthodontic treatment before or after the surgery.

After having a face to face consultation with our doctor, you will go to our affiliated dental office to make a wafer impression of your bite calibration. After seven days, you will be ready for surgery. The doctor may or may not ask you to come in earlier to check the wafer, or he may check it directly in the surgery room on the day of surgery. During the first week post op, you will be asked to return for check ups every few days. By the second week, you are free to travel far since we will only ask you to come back once a week until the 4th week post op.

(And I just pasted what they sent me lol but yeah. ) but that two jaw price is crazy expensive.. still unsure if I need two jaw surgery.. as most of them say in person consultation is much more accurate.

Im still debating. But I’m definitely going to Korea in 2019. So I’m going to work full time like crazy. . And when I feel I’m ready I’m going to go Korea and get consultations in person. Anyone know when is the best time to go where it isn’t as busy. As I don’t want to consult and have to wait too long to get scheduled. As my work I’m not even sure how long I can ask for off. Also I’m thinking of hiring a translator to someone I can trust who knows the prices really well and can help me bargain. But not sure if this is a good ideal or where to find one. Thanks

Hi Winter is the worst time to us because they have winter break and many Koreans do surgery in winter, most are busy, it is most difficult to deals. April & May and September are not busy season, it has best deals I think so I am going to SK in Sep.
