tikicat76 Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I have a bit of drooping on my eyes as I have gotten older. One is worse than the other. I am trying to find a way to correct it that is as simple/easy as possible. Someone I spoke with mentioned getting a double eyelid non-incision surgery as it is said to be fast, easy, cheap, and the results are good. Are there any downsides? Quote
beachybabe Posted Tuesday at 01:48 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:48 PM Well one of the biggest downsides is they are not permanent. They last anywhere from 5 to 10 years. There are also risks involved - cysts, reactions, loosening of the fold, etc. Also you run the risk of them being uneven due to the healing process. 1 Quote

You have to understand that this sort of surgery only offers a temporary fix and in some cases it can't be repeated. So once the sagging returns, it is there for good. You would have to get looked over by a surgeon to know if it would be a good surgery or not. 1 Quote
tikicat76 Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago I guess I did not look into this enough! I had no idea that this was not a permanent operation. I just assumed it would last for a long time until your skin ages out of it again. So like 20 years, not just 5! I will have to consider this and think a bit more on it. Thanks! Quote
