Hi, I plan to go in May for consultation... so it will be very useful to know how your f2f consultation result. Did you consider pretty body and mc365? it seems they specialise in lipo as well.

@Missynlulu
My plan was to go for a full body liposuction and it was down to Dr Kasey and Laprin.

However, Laprin informed me that Dr Choi YH was unavailable and suggested Dr Lee HW would be the one performing. So I eventually just went with my gut and decided on Dr Kasey instead.

I contacted him via Kakaotalk.

Dr Kasey only specialises in lipo, body sculpting surgery, fat grafting and stem cells with experience since 2002, has conducted multiple live surgeries/conferences in this area annually since 2003 and wrote a book on liposculpting in 2008. That's as much as I could only manage to find online, so hope it helps!

Something to note: The size of the clinic is exactly as what you would find with google photos, located on the 2nd floor.

Upon consultation, we discussed my main areas of concern in that order - abdomen, thighs and arms. He explained that I didn't require as much lipo as I thought I did but fully understood that my abdomen and thighs were my priority. I came with a list of questions ready ( eg 1 or 2 ops required, length of operation, sedation vs GA, recovery time, type of liposuction, how many scars, ...) and he was patient throughout, explaining in full detail (I think I spent at least 20mins just on my Q&A). After much discussion, he informed me that he could perform the op in a day instead of splitting into 2 ops, a week apart.

It was my first time going for an operation and personally, I felt much more assured after the F2F consultation for 2 reasons. One, I needed a doctor who would be patient and explain everything in detail without brushing me off (I heard that consultations can be as short as 2 mins in some hospitals) and two, because of his experience and specialisation.

Btw I did consider PBC & 365mc but the both were too pricey for me. If I didn't have a budget then I would totally go for 365!

If you have any other questions, feel free to reply/pm me! :smile:

I had liposuction at Laprin and it was actually Dr Lee HW who did it. I am very happy with the overall experience so far (still waiting for the end results, has been 2 months), but I only did my thighs and hip line (plus breast fat grafting), so whole-body lipo might be different. Will follow your thread^^ BTW did your doc talk to you in English or did you have a translator? Or do you speak fluent Korean?

Hi @Agamma80 ,

Dr Kasey is fluent in both Korean and English so there won't be any language barriers! Unfortunately, I can't speak Korean. But for those going to his clinic, I would advise learning simple terms like "it's painful" or

It's been slightly more than a month and I'm quite surprised at how much my belly flattened out. Before, when I sat down, my belly would protrude out and there was a heavy crease line below my breasts.. My thighs have slimmed down a little too but there's still hardening and a little bit of swelling left.

Something I forgot to mention in my previous post - For the post-op compression garment, he advised me to wear it for the first 24 hours and after that I could just wear it in the day and take it off at night or vice versa. However, I read online from other forums that they wore it 24 hrs for the first 4-6 weeks at least, so I tried to do the same for the first month.

I tried to ask for another garment but he said that it wasn't necessary (since I could wash it at night). Since I only purchased 1 set of compression garments, I only took it off when I needed to wash and let it dry.

Hopefully the results would be more obvious after the next month or two!

It has been a full 6 months since having thigh liposuction in Seoul! I couldn't be happier with my results! Honestly! It was my first cosmetic procedure ever, so I was very nervous, but it all turned out amazing! My doctor was highly skilled and the hospital by far the most professional in Seoul. 365mc only does lipo and after doing a lot of research to find the best place, I am so glad I chose them. Some friends of mine had gotten theirs done here, so it made me feel even safer because they all had amazing results too. The recovery was not bad and I feel like my full results came out around 3-4 months! I finally have a proportional shape and thigh gap! My stretch marks are also less noticable. :smile: 10/10 would recommend to anyone who struggled to loose fat in a specific area (like I had struggled for years).
