  2. I will look into him and this clinic, thanks! I am struggling to find ones that specifically state they are for women that is why I wanted to ask here.
  3. YES! This is something I don't see asked enough. You will have to fill out a form and give them all information. It helps if you can bring with you diagnostic sheets from your doctors as well as lists of all prescriptions or over-the-counter medication you use. Even vitamins. Some vitamins can cause excessive bleeding and are a no-no for surgery.
  4. Today
  5. What makes you think it is not a legit place? I have seen reviews and before/afters of people getting work done there and it all seems very straight forward and above board. That being said, I have never gone here myself.
  6. I had been in touch with a fairly large clinic about having different work done. I want some jaw area work, eye work, and a nose job. After going back and forth I was able to schedule a virtual talk with one of the doctors and he told me there will be three different doctors who would work on me. Is this normal? Is this considered a red flag? I guess I just had assumed only one doctor would manage everything.

  8. I know in the states, this can easily be looked up and gathered by clinics but seeing as I would be going to Korea, I am a bit concerned about this. I am not sure if I need medical history or not. Like medical conditions, medications, etc. in order for them to preform surgery on me. Anyone know?
  9. Yeah I am starting to understand why people take longer trips even if the surgery they get is simple and has a fast recovery! I will for sure be booking a longer stay
  10. I have contacted this clinic. It is one of 4 or 5 I have contacted. This one took awhile to hear back from. I am not sure why. But they seem to be legit to me. I was asking around and found someone that I work with whose family member had gone to this clinic for some skin issue and her results were excellent.
  11. Okay I was not entirely sure. I guess I would need a brachioplasty if that is the case as I do have loose skin that will need to be tucked/removed. Thanks for replying. I am going to look into this a bit more and research it.
  12. Last week
  13. Dr. Sangyun Hyeon is said to be one of the best. He is at the Woomchan clinic. I am not sure if they offer transplants for women but you can contact them and ask!
  14. The longer you can stay the better. Reason being that you allow for consultation, surgery, recovery, and aftercare. You don't want to be rushing onto a plane after having surgery, you'd be miserable!!
  15. I would have assumed that a BBL would be substantially more than a standard lift but I guess I am not familiar enough with the surgery. Is it a combination of a lift and implant?
  16. It seems a lot of people are not aware of this so you are not alone I am just glad to be of help. I know looking into this stuff can be a bit overwhelming and confusing. You just want to make sure you are safe and getting your money's worth.
  17. I am noticing just how many clinics/hospitals are out there. I had no idea. I guess this is why they call Korea the plastic surgery capital of the world! Looking at the before and afters, I will say they tend to do the best "natural" work I have seen too.
  18. I was looking at this clinic online. I am not sure if it is my browser or what but the website seems to be a bit broken. I am wondering if this is a legit clinic or not. Has anyone been? Or has anyone been in contact with the clinic?
  19. I think the most impressive part is indeed the aftercare. I don't see any other place doing what they do. The only comparison is dental work in Mexico.
  20. It is okay! A lot of people don't know about this unless they speak with a doctor or are working with clinics to find options. You might be better off doing botox to help plump things up and wait until you are a bit older before doing this?
  21. Aren't transplants for women a bit more complicated? Like how women tend to lose hair is thinning all over vs men that bald mostly on the top. I hope you find someone that can do it for you! My sister had trouble. No doctor would do it for her cause the success rate was too low.
  22. Oh, that is right. I should be using the proper term for it. Thank you I will give that a try. And thank you for letting me know about that clinic, I will check it out and maybe contact them!
  23. Checking Google reviews is helpful. I believe they are more strict with reviews when it comes to medical services. At least that seems to be the case here in the US. I noticed that "fake" reviews or inflated stars does get removed.
  24. You sound very small so I would imagine it would be on the cheaper side. Women that are lager tend to have extra costs as the surgery is a bit more invasive and recovery time ends up being longer.
  25. Dr. Myung Ju Lee M.D. Ph.D offers this at his clinic and he gets very good reviews on Google. Check out him and see what you think. It seems his clinic offers various options as well for reduction depending on your needs or desires.
  26. I am not entirely sure about this but you can look at the top-rated clinics and see if they offer this. I did see something about Korea looking to have hair loss be covered as a medical treatment instead of an elected surgery for Koreans which is pretty cool!
  27. A standard BBL tends to be the most expensive averaging around $10,000. Implants are around $8,000 on average. A standard lift tends to be around $4,000 to $6,000.
  28. I know I was overwhelmed when it came to finding my doctor but I happened to know someone on another forum that recommended the clinic I went to. So I had some sort of "proof" that the clinic was legit!
  29. I did look into this surgery and yeah, it can take some time. I am still recovering from a face lift at 2 months in and was told it may be another 2 months.
