  5. Hi, I am planning on visiting Korea at the end of the year for a revision rhinoplasty and breast augmentation. Would love to connect with more folks, please add me on Kakao (ID: m00sh). Thanks!
  6. thanks for sharing all this, seriously super helpful esp for those of us considering a combo like lip lift + tip plasty. i’ve heard a few ppl mention that doing the lip lift alone can mess w/ the nose tip aesthetics so it makes sense your doc recommended both. sounds like your surgeon was being really cautious about proportions which is honestly a green flag i remember reading it took them like 2-3 months before they could smile naturally again after their lip lift, and even then it was gradual. the tightness sounds super normal tho especially only one month post-op, you’re still really early curious to hear how your nose settles too! “cindy lou" pretty soon you'll be like "cindy who?" it usually drops by 1-3 months right, and gradually settles around 6. i wouldn’t stress too much yet appreciate the update, keep us posted if you feel like it!

  8. In a world where communication is instant and constant, people are always searching for better, more powerful tools to stay connected. This is where FM WhatsApp shines. As one of the most feature-rich modified versions of the original WhatsApp, FM WhatsApp provides users with the kind of control, customization, and privacy that the standard version simply can’t match. FM WhatsApp is designed for users who want more out of their messaging app. It retains all the core functionalities of regular WhatsApp but adds powerful enhancements that make it ideal for both casual users and tech-savvy individuals. Whether you're looking for more customization options or advanced privacy settings, FM WhatsApp delivers on every front. One of the standout features of FM WhatsApp is the ability to completely customize the app interface. From changing chat bubble styles to choosing different font types and applying unique themes, the personalization options are endless. This makes FM WhatsApp especially appealing to younger users and those who enjoy making their digital environment reflect their personality. Another significant reason why many users switch to FM WhatsApp is the superior privacy settings. You can hide last seen, blue ticks, second ticks, and even the "typing..." status. Moreover, you can view statuses and messages that have been deleted by the sender, a feature not available in the official app. This makes it an excellent choice for users who want more control over how they appear to others online. FM WhatsApp also supports sending much larger media files, which is a game-changer for professionals and content creators. Share high-quality videos, documents, and more without compression or quality loss. Users can send up to 90 images at once and forward messages to multiple contacts simultaneously—something that's restricted in the official app. Security is also top-notch. FM WhatsApp includes built-in app lock features using PINs, passwords, or fingerprints, allowing users to lock specific chats or the entire app. Plus, it has an anti-ban mechanism, so you can use it with confidence knowing your account is protected. To enjoy the full benefits, you can download FM WhatsApp from the official source at FMWA.dev. This ensures that you're getting the most updated, secure, and malware-free version of the app. In summary, FM WhatsApp is a dynamic and powerful alternative to the original WhatsApp. With its extensive range of features and unmatched flexibility, it’s no surprise that FM WhatsApp is gaining popularity among users worldwide. If you’re ready to experience messaging on your terms, FM WhatsApp is the app for you.

  10. Hi there! The incision line on my nose is healing really nicely, it is barely visible! As for my corner lift incision, it’s noticeable if you’re focusing on it and that may be my fault for not diligently putting scar gel on my lip incision compared to my nose incision. For the scars, I have been using a silicone gel that the doctor recommended and he also recommended steroid injections once a month for three months! If I remembered correctly, the reason for the tip plasty was because if I did the lip lift alone it could alter the nose tip. And Instead of the philtrum being too short, I think the results look pretty similar to the original but a bit more enhanced! So if you’re looking for a more drastic result, I don’t think it would be worth it. It has also been about a month since I got it done! I’m still experiencing some tightness and the swelling. There’s still swelling around the nose, mouth, and lip corners, but the stiffness and swelling has definitely improved! Still difficult to smile, but it may be because I don’t try to move my mouth >.< As for my nose, it’s still a bit pointy and giving elf/cindy lou who according to my sister, so I’m hoping it drops more!
  11. i’ve been looking into LASIK for a while now and wanted to find out where actual Koreans go, not just the usual gangnam clinics that are all over the ads for foreigners. started digging around on naver (with a lot of help from papago lol) and noticed that a lot of locals seem to go to bigger hospital-level eye centers outside of the gangnam area 서울신세계안과 (Shinsegae Eye Clinic) near miasageori station kept coming up, seems like they get a ton of local patients and have a decent rep for LASIK/LASEK and even ICL stuff. i reached out on kakao and they actually connected me to someone who spoke english, which was a nice surprise has anyone here gotten LASIK or LASEK done there recently? how was the screening process, tech they use, overall experience, pricing, and if they try to upsell or not? just trying to get a better sense of what to expect before i book a consult. https://www.ssgeye.com/
  12. thanks for sharing!! i’ve been lowkey curious about Retmus for lip lift too so this was super helpful. sounds like you had a smooth surgery + recovery (minus the expected stiffness) how’s the scar looking now? are you doing anything specific for scar care like silicone gel or laser later on? also did dr the give any feedback about how the corner lift + lip lift would balance with the tip plasty? i’ve seen a few people on here mention they were worried about the philtrum looking too short post-op if they did both, so just wondering how he approached that with you?
  13. Has anyone else gone down the rabbit hole of Asian beauty clinics? What tripped you up? Hi, I'm Korean and I was wondering if I could help people book their beauty trips to Korea. I know how confusing it could be to navigate in a foreign country, making sure the clinics are reputable and that they're not taking advantage of you because you're foreign. here's what I'm planning so far: Personalized clinic matching based on your goals and budget Help with travel arrangements (hotels, transport, etc.) Access to virtual consultations before you travel Language support for the entire trip, including post-op care I’m collecting feedback and early interest —also there's this if you want to keep posted or join the pilot!
  14. Hi, I’ve recently undergone a lip lift, corner lip lift, and tip plasty at Retmus and wanted to share my experience! A lip lift is something I have always considered doing. So when I came across Retmus and read about how they specialized in lip lifts and the technique that Dr. Chung uses to minimize scarring, I immediately thought it was time and booked my consultation. My consultation was thorough and pretty straight forward. Dr. Chung recommended for me to do a tip plasty, upper lift lift, and corner lip lift. For my consultation I hired an english interpreter. Even though the doctor speaks and understands english, you’ll still need an english interpreter. So I hired an interpreter for my consultation, surgery, and stitch removal day. For my surgery, I was really nervous and anxious. But at the same time, I was excited for the change. I remembered going to sleep and waking up from surgery. When I woke up from surgery, I felt great! I had no pain and experienced no side effects from the anesthesia, so I was really happy and grateful. As for recovery, I didn’t feel any pain. Just a little bit of discomfort from the tension and pressure between the nose and mouth area. I was also advised to wear a nose retainer as much as possible for six months. 2 weeks post-op. My lips and nose is still pretty swollen and numb in some areas. The scar is slowly healing. I can’t fully close my mouth or make a lot of mouth movements yet. It’s still difficult to smile and laugh. It will take some time and I still have a long way to go. Slowly but surely. Everything is healing pretty nicely Overall, I am really happy with the results!
  15. Please add me. I'm ProperMom. planning a Mid-June month in Seoul accompanied by my husband. If you anyone is there then, DM me and let's get coffee.
  16. Please keep us posted with as many deets and possible. All the best juju to you!
  17. This is so informative. I just got a quote from Grand: General Rhino and tip-plasty 300,000 KRW. Short nose correction 800,000. Alar reduction and rim graft 200,000. Total 6,300,000 KRW. I sent pics and this is what they suggested. Funny thing though is that I did NOT mention any dissatisfaction with my alars. Yes, they are flared -- imaginge 30% Nigerian, 50% Japanese, 20% Scottish. But I wish to extend my collumella to accomplish the control of the flare. I'm old! -- 60 years to be exact, so visible scars may not heal well. Can you (or anyone) confirm that a columellar strut can be applied endonasally? Any other advice is welcome.
  18. MKGS 123..hope this helps...My sister and I traveled from different parts of the world to have a full facelift done by Dr. Cha at this clinic last year. We had a paid Zoom consultation with Dr. Cha before the surgery, during which he confidently told us we would “look 10 years younger.” That simply did not happen. What we received was minimal, disappointing, and not worth the pain or the cost. If you're considering minor treatments, perhaps this clinic might be suitable. But if you're planning something as major as a full facelift, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. A facelift isn’t minor — it’s invasive and expensive. It’s not something you can (or should) do repeatedly. We trusted this clinic with our faces, our money, and our one chance — and they failed us. Like other reviewer such as Suzanne Frazier, we were met with excuses and avoidance of responsibility. we were told the same excuse given to others: " call us and we will do what is necessary". I mean..we did? and we get NOWHERE. Neither of us had the opportunity to consult directly with the doctor after the procedure, despite multiple WhatsApp messages expressing our dissatisfaction, we received no direct response or follow-up from the doctor. This lack of accountability and direct communication was incredibly unprofessional, frustrating and deeply disappointing. We had a few follow-up discussions with the staff — specifically Isabel and Anna. We showed before-and-after photos and clearly expressed that we saw no visible difference. Isabel told us to wait six months, Despite my doubt that 6 months will have marked differences, I waited. after 6 months, we mentioned this again, the only response — relayed through Isabel — was: “Dr. Cha sees the change.” Of course he would say that — but no explanation was offered as to where or what that change was. Friends who didn’t know we had any procedures done were shocked to hear we’d had full facelifts — they hadn’t noticed a thing. Those who did know simply said, “nothing looks different.” My sister had the exact same experience. When we raised this, the clinic gave us a generic response: “Results vary depending on factors like weight gain or lifestyle changes.” But neither of us had gained weight or changed our routines. So that explanation felt like another way to dismiss our concerns. The experience was also marred by concerns about hygiene and transparency: (1)The recovery room was dirty, with visible blood stains and dust on the beds and blankets. I waited for my procedure in the recovery room ( my sister went in first). I immediately had concerns about the clinic’s hygiene standards, but by then, it was too late to turn back. (2) We were quoted different prices for the exact same procedure, simply because we live in different countries (they hadn’t realized we were sisters). (3) The staff actively discouraged us from talking to other clients. When we spoke to someone in our native language whom we met when we return to get our stitches removed, Isabel quickly ushered us away. Why? To prevent us from comparing prices? Results? Possibly both. This experience was painful — physically, emotionally, and financially. Dr. Cha overpromised and underdelivered. For the price we paid and the trust we gave, this clinic truly failed us. Their website claims: “Mina Plastic Surgery is a leading clinic in Seoul, known for its commitment to providing the highest quality care and results.” My foot! That couldn’t be further from our experience. Please, do your due diligence before trusting your face to this clinic. What they promise online and what they deliver in reality are worlds apart. plse also go :https://www.visiontimes.com/2021/11/01/plastic-surgery-in-south-korea.html. someone had a similar experience ..no AFTER care. which you need esp if unhappy with result

  23. Hi i'm planning to undergo rhinoplasty and blepharoplasty surgery in a week and i'm doing my research here
  24. @DeeDee when i first started researching, i kept falling for the pretty websites and high follower counts but then realized it's all marketing. like @OppaStatus mentioned, making sure the surgeon is board-certified and actually the one doing your surgery is huge. not all but some places have someone else do the consult and then you're passed off to a random surgeon on the day, when you get knocked out (ghost doctors). another red flag i've seen people mention is when they push combo procedures you didn’t even ask about or try to rush you into booking during the consult. or when they dodge technical questions or give vague answers about risks and recovery. def trust your gut on stuff like that for zygoma and jaw surgeries, i also heard to check if they do CT scans and surgical sims before giving a plan. avoid clinics that schedule like three surgeries back to back with the same doc. quality over quantity for real which procedure are you leaning toward most right now? curious if you've ruled any out already too
  25. hey! i haven’t done double jaw myself but i've been deep diving into it for a while now cuz i was considering it for both bite issues + aesthetics, so i can share what i’ve picked up from ppl on here and reddit/kakao chats for clinics ppl seem really split on which ones are good. some swear by the “big name” places like ID, TFD, or Girin, but others warn they can be super factory-like and overcharge. the more boutique places tend to be more attentive but can be harder to find solid reviews for unless you dig thru kakao chats or follow someone’s journey. also saw mixed things about Regen for jaw, more people seem to go there for other stuff consults most clinics will do a CT scan and facial analysis, and from what i heard they usually bring up additional things to “balance” your face (like chin or zygoma stuff) even if you just went in for jaw. kinda feels like upsell-y but in some cases it’s legit needed to avoid looking unbalanced after surgery. you’ll wanna go to a few places before deciding for sure cost anywhere from 13mil to 25mil krw depending on how complex it is and if you need overnight hospital stay, braces, etc. also factor in separate fees for post-op care like deswelling, hotel stay, meds, and food (you’re on liquids for a while). some clinics include aftercare in their packages, others don’t and it adds up. ppl on reddit said one of the more hidden costs was getting your bite fixed afterwards if the result isn’t perfect, so keep that in mind recovery not gonna lie it looks brutal for the first 1-2 weeks. massive swelling, drooling, pain, can’t eat, can’t talk properly. most people say the worst is over by week 3 but full swelling takes like 6 months to a year to go down. bruising varies, some have it bad, others not so much. ppl who were happy with their results said it was worth it, but also mentally tough for a while tips book your hotel for longer than you think just in case. bring a neck pillow, lip balm, baby wipes, and straws you can cut to fit your mouth better lol. also like...don’t go alone if you can avoid it, some people regretted not having someone there to help esp the first few days. and don’t rush the decision, jaw is serious stuff and fixing a bad result later is way harder than waiting a bit longer to find the right surgeon feel free to DM or reply if you want help finding kakao group chats, they’ve been suuuper helpful for real-time info hope this helps!!
  26. Totally get what you mean. The Korean plastic surgery scene is full of noise, especially with all the paid reviews, astroturfing, and recycled blog content. It’s smart that you’re approaching this cautiously. For double jaw and v-line work, the most important thing is making sure the actual surgeon doing your case is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial specialist, not just a general plastic surgeon. A lot of clinics have one face doctor doing consultations, but someone else steps in on surgery day (ghost doc situation). The best way to avoid this is to ask directly who will be performing your surgery and request the doctor’s full name and credentials in writing. Also, ask if they’ll be present during all parts of the operation. More legit OMFS surgeons would be places like EverM, TFD, and EU. Out of these though I have seen the best results come from Dr. Yoon at EverM. From the list you mentioned (JK, JW, Banobagi, Wonjin, AB, Nana), all are well-known but heavily marketed. Some of them have strong in-house content teams, which can create the illusion of credibility. Doesn’t always mean they’re bad, but it does mean you need to look deeper than the surface. For zygoma, chin, and jaw surgeries, check if the clinic offers 3D CT scans and surgical simulations, it’s a good sign they take planning seriously. Also, avoid anywhere that tries to push multiple surgeries in one go without a clear reason. Happy to share more if you narrow down which procedures you’re leaning toward or if you want names of surgeons that are known in the local expat or agency circuit. There are legit ones, but they don’t always have the flashiest Instagrams.
  27. Hi everyone, I’m seriously considering getting double jaw surgery in Korea and would love to hear from anyone who has gone through it. I’m especially curious about: • Which clinics or surgeons you recommend (and which to avoid) • What the consultation process was like • How much it cost, including any hidden or aftercare fees • What recovery was like, such as pain, swelling, and downtime • Any tips you wish you knew beforehand I’m open to both medical and aesthetic reasons. Just trying to gather as much real insight as I can before making a decision. Thanks in advance for any advice or experience you can share.
  28. @GawdMike This is one of the most amazing things ever. I can't tell you enough how useful this is to help people. And what a great contribution to the community!
