Hi everyone, I just joined. Hoping to get some help. So I have been wanting to get a nose job/reconstruction since I was in my teens. I always hated me nose and as I have gotten older, I have only become more self-conscious of it. I am unable to afford a local doctor but I can absolutely afford to get work done in Korea so I want to travel for it. I am just having a hard time narrowing down my list of clinics/hospitals to contact. I would prefer one that isn't like a hospital if possible and one that is known for specializing in nose work, especially for non-Koreans. Any suggestions I should look into would be great!

I too am on the hunt for the best nose work. I think one you should contact is zero one plastic surgery. They are at the top of my list after contacting them. What is great about this clinic is that they do offer CT-based assessments which means you will get to see what your nose will look like almost exactly before the surgery. Not all clinics offer this sort of thing it seems. At least from the ones I have looked into. They also have a focus on revision or more structured nose work with planning. This was all explained to me and outlined. So I would add them to your list to get in touch with and check out!

Absolutely. I even tell people of this when they visit Japan, which is probably the safest place to visit at this point. I have heard of people getting taken advantage of or just outright discriminated against over there too.

I am curious to see how everything went! A friend of mine just got her nose done. She had a broken nose from an accident but couldn't fix the issues with it until it was fully healed and it took over a year. Anyways, her swelling was not bad at all. I was shocked. She looked worse after her accident.

You shouldn't feel self-conscious in an area like this. Plastic surgery is so "of the norm" that people won't think anything of it if you are walking around with swelling. I would focus more on how you feel than how you look. Assuming the after care is good, you should be able to feel well enough to enjoy your trip and not feel the need to stay in your hotel the whole time. Yup! I have seen videos on YouTube of people going there for work. It is normal and no one cares.

It is optional for more invasive surgeries. I think when they deal with international clients and patients, they often recommend aftercare being done locally if possible to avoid this. I have not been able to find costs for such a thing though. I am trying to research it a bit more in case it is something I would need.
