  1. Sorry guy, been off this forum for quite a while...

Mrai89, I don't think I can give you good enough opinion as I've never done face contouring nor any bone-related surgeries before. For lipo, I think it's totally manageable. I went to see friends for Korean BBQ the next day. Tho the compression garment will give you a certain degree of discomfort, it just feel like wearing super tight spandex LOL.

PeiYoung, I've only undergone sedation. Personally don't think GA is necessary, tho you can request for deep sedation at Dream. For deep sedation, they just use the same substance as sedation, but the dose will keep you under until they complete the surgery.

Babydiscus, Dream provides limo to take you back to your hotel. I think this is one of the very important aftercare they provide me. I didn't stay overnight after any of my surgeries.

  2. I've done my Lipo @ 365mc. Here's my thread: #

  3. LOL thanks K for publicizing our private chat! Well.. no shame, no shame.

And yes Hellboy, we are referring to you

  4. Hahahah syxwan, Happy healing! That roller coaster ride is not bad right? That does sound like a junkie haha. Regarding hair, I did it myself on day2, just did it carefully with head upside down. It's part of my daily 'entertainment' LOL.. Otherwise, salon is not pricey at all. Dr park was humming during my op too! I asked him what song was he humming LOL

  5. Hahaha same here! I just used credit card so I can earn points. Too much risk to carry stack of cash

  6. What you said about implants is not the full picture. Even for Silicone and Cartilage, there are different types and methods. Suggest you to read Kcouture's bible. There's a whole section about Implant Type # src="smiles/static/smile.gif" class="mceSmilie" alt="" title="Smile ">

  7. You should do your research to shortlist a few clinics to do face-to-face consultation. Normal cases, you can consult with about 3-4 clinics per day when you arrive. (depends on the amount of procedures you are doing). Never pay to book surgery before meeting the surgeon as everyone's criteria and situation is different and it's also very subjective on whether you like a surgeon or not.

Make sure you book the consultation to be sure the surgeon is available at the time you want. Also, do not settle for another surgeon only because the one you picked wasn't available. Always choose the surgeon, not the clinic.

If you have limited holidays, try to avoid peak season like Jul-Aug and Dec-Jan. Other than that, clinics will try their best to squeeze you in and normally you can have your surgery within 3-4 days.

Try to get in early in the week, best to be able to start your consultation on a Monday so you have a higher chance to be book within the same week. Otherwise you might waste a weekend to wait for surgery slot doing nothing.

    Good luck with everything

  8. Wow seriously? I had ear cartilage grafted from the back of my right ear, since it's close to the fold, you can hardly see it. Can only feel it when you touch it, like a small dent of the size of a rice.

  9. Sorry to hear about your face. Hope it gets better soon...

  10. They are dental/maxillofacial specialist so they do face contouring and other facial bone related surgeries.

They haven't have an English translator back when I was there in Jun, but have a Chinese one name Gahee, who can reply emails in English. Saw posts from other forumer said that they now have English translator. The surgeon/director is Dr Yoon Kyu Sik graduated from Yonsei University. I've been there for consultation and have very +Ve feeling about them. But end up didn't undergo face contouring.

  11. Yup all by myself. I was really nervous on first few days of decision making. That's why finding a trustworthy Dr and helpful consultant/ service manager is very important. And the planning part is very important. Try not to put yourself in a situation where you have to make decision under stress, that's why I've emphasized a couple times, go during low season. Not only you, but the surgeon will be more relaxed when he meet up with you.

  12. Different clinic does it differently. The few clinics I've asked about payment methods, Wooskin, 365MC and Dream said it doesn't matter if you pay by card or cash. April31 told me I can get more discount if I pay by cash.

I think the transaction fee charged by your bank is to the merchant, not you. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

For me, I can't be bothered to bring a bunch of cash. I'm happy to accumulate air miles using my credit card
