Remember that what you look like in pictures and what you look like in real life are often very different . Also in the before and after pictures that you showed your face is not as wide as the first nor is it as long as the second. I would advise that you calm down before you make decisions that could make you feel even worse. There are doctors that will do anything just because you pay them to and that doesn't necessarily mean that it's good for you, what should happen or that you're going to be happy with it later.

I don't know what your quarantine situation is (I hope that you take this the right way because I mean it with good intentions), but I would get your eyebrows threaded and clear your skin up. That will help you like what you see in the mirror better while waiting to get your nose done again. Do you wear makeup at all?

I think you might need some filler or fat in your face especially in the lines around your mouth and at your temples. I think that would help to bring the fullness that is hanging around your chin area up and show off your jawline (if not, just a small amount of lipo can be done there). I don't think that you need to have v-line done at all. Other than your rhinoplasty, I don't think you need any permanent or intrusive procedures done.

First, you need to calm down. Making huge decisions is never a good thing to do while upset. Next, please give us more information like where you had your previous rhinoplasty, what went wrong with it and what look you are looking to achieve.

She already knows and admitted that. How you stated this was rude and not helpful.

  3. You should do much more research on both South Korea's COVID-19 status and the clinics you are looking at. Use the search feature here for clinics. I don't know if you are American or not (I am), but here is the link to the Travel Advisory for South Korea: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/traveladvisories/traveladvisories/south-korea-travel-advisory.html

  4. Foreigners don't tend to know about local clinics because we aren't Asian and usually don't read or speak Korean. I trust locals more because local prices are much lower and don't tend to be linked to promoters.

  5. I'm sure you don't mean it to (or maybe you don't realize) but it comes off horribly when you ask people to prove things they say. Especially when you have no reason to doubt them.

I was up late when I watched her videos and I misunderstood what she said which was: " ...I quarantined myself to my apartment for over 2 weeks and went from my apartment straight into a clinic. It didn't really pose a huge threat. Especially with the precautions the Korean's took at both the clinic and airport."

But you can see and hear for yourself here:

Dr Lee at VIP has botched a lot of people. Look him up here and on RealSelf.com. He's also really expensive; too expensive to have mixed reviews. Plus he does the same thing to everyone. I was going with him and glad I didn't after the very person whose early results convinced me to go to him had bad results and her nose reverted.

  6. Go to realself and look Dr. Lee up. If you persist after all of these warnings, then whatever happens, happens. But you were warned.

  7. The day you posted this, I was supposed to be on a plane to Seoul. So I feel your pain.

I've seen people getting surgery during it,but if you go to SK, they are putting you in quarantine for 2 weeks at your own expense first.

ETA: I just checked the South Korea Travel Advisory for the US and it's been downgraded from DO NOT TRAVEL to RECONSIDER TRAVEL. So that's a good step in the right direction.

  8. Dr Lee does the same thing for everyone: rhinoplasty, midface augmentation and sliding genioplasty. The woman who was my inspiration to see him looked incredible except her philtrum was too long after. He didn't even address it. If you're going to do the whole face, do the whole face.

  9. If you look for his name on RealSelf, you will see that he's botched a lot of people. I am so glad I dodged that because I was going to go to him based on a girl who went to him like 2 years ago whose nose reverted later on. It's unacceptable regardless of how much you paid, but for his prices, everyone who goes to him better have perfect results.

    Find another doctor.

  10. No one is blowing this out of proportion. People are dying worldwide from COVID-19. Even people with no underlying health issues have gone from healthy to dead in less than 2 weeks, so I don't know where this "less deadly than MERS" story is coming from.

Please take this seriously no matter where on this planet you live. Too many people aren't and are refusing to do what's necessary to stop the spread or to remain healthy themselves. I have friends and family who are nurses on the front lines daily and I talk to them weekly. This lackadaisical attitude about how bad the disease is has cost so many lives and it is an insult to those putting themselves at risk to tend to their patients. If you aren't going to help, don't make it worse.

Seoul isn't going anywhere; neither is plastic surgery. But putting yourself in harm's way to look pretty is going to get you nothing but a good looking corpse. People being selfish and having their heads up their asses is what got us here.

  11. A couple years ago when there was a different coronavirus, they lowered prices to get people back in. And that was nothing like this.

COVID-19 has affected the entire world in such a way that it's going to take a few years to get back to normal. Who is going to be able to afford their raised prices? Especially on elective surgery? A bunch of people who just lost their jobs and are worried about losing their homes? Most people are going to be flying in from other countries and taking a week or more off from work. Everything is going to be dirt cheap; flights, hotels and surgery. If they want to build things back up, they have no choice.

According to this from that link you posted, yes.

  13. The won is dropping rapidly so it may not even matter because depending on your currency. But they did drop prices when it happened a few years ago. The fact that SK itself issued a red alert (and that they are the second hardest hit only to China) will result in much better prices once it's safe to go there. The Chinese are usually their biggest source of customers, so they are being hit hard.
