Am I the only one who sees this as a positive in that the deals will be plentiful when the virus is contained? It happened too when MERS was around. The won will drop and they'll be craving customers. They won't be able to overcharge foreigners since the Chinese can't come in for surgery.
Not trying to be mean but this could turn out in our favor if we wait it out a month or 2.
ETA: I'm am American and I can tell you people here are gross af.
Where are you going in Turkey for your rhino? And who are you considering for your breasts? Feel free to message me if you're not comfortable saying here. I think we might be seeing the same rhino doc.
From what I have heard, there is more than one botched job at VIP.
The (US) doctor who botched my nose had a ton of good reviews - and receives more bad ones every day. Just remember that the people who are encouraging you to go ahead aren't the ones paying for your surgery and won't have to live with it if you are botched.
The anti-Asian (don't care if you're Asian or not) vibe of this thread is disconcerting. @Megs, @Vlad@Swanky can you please shut this down? There is no point to it and it's causing nothing but more in-fghting. Thank you.
With the exception of with the Chinese, it's mainly because with the exchange rate we pay much less than we would in our home country. Most foreigners don't even know what locals pay or that there is even a difference in price. The cost of marketing to a foreigner is no more than it is for a local. They do much more marketing for locals since the majority of their patients are Korean. their bread and butter business isn't foreigners. It's locals. Foreign patients pay for their own translators or their cost is passed to the foreign patient from the clinic.
Again except for the Chinese, it's simply a business decision. Do the same surgery for 2-3 times the money.
That's your opinion, and you're more than welcome to it. I speak 8 languages (English as my first) and was botched numerous times here in the United States, where I was born, bred and have lived my entire life. One of the biggest stars in the world had their surgery done at the last clinic. The fact is that you can be as careful as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs and still get botched.
I'm not going to do this xenophobic BS. The only county you should go to and expect the people to speak English is England. You shouldn't expect an Asian country to cater to you. I spent the time and learned Korean to be able to go there and be respectful. And you have only to contact the government to get an English speaking translator. Or choose a clinic with its own. Don't blame your laziness on them. Only a fool leaved their home country and doesn't call their credit card to inform them first. And you want to blame Korea for that? Jesus Christ who ties your shoes in the morning?
You can either stop the foolishness now or I can contact a Mod and get you booted. Your choice. But I don't stand for this kind of racist bullsh*t.
I am so sorry this happened to you. Remember not to listen to the advice of someone who won't have to live with the advice they give you.
If someone doesn't answer, it's most likely because they can't give you adequate advice. Also, it was Friday when you posted. Many people are starting their weekend.
Have you seen a doctor? Consultant Clinic now has offices here in Beverly Hills. They are the best of their field and often deal with horrible fillers from other clinics. Contact them. You can also see their work on Instagram.
Nope. they quote EVERYONE a midface augmentation and rib rhino. There hasn't been one person I've seen they have told to do both procedures. Including me. Which is why I ultimately chose not to go with them (on top of them not doing the kind of nose I like).
I haven't heard anything bad about them. They seem to do good work at good prices. Kinda no frills. If they do the kind of nose I want and paranasal implants, I might let them do my nose as well as my eyes.
The best candidates for liposuction are those with localized pockets of fat that won't go away with diet and exercise. It's not meant as weight control or in lieu of eating properly.
You can look on the board for that. I was going to put clinics, but I honestly don't feel like fielding questions about the them or being accused of being a promoter.
There are quite a few SK clinics who only do one surgery a day and are booked solid. That's because they do exquisite work and can charge an above average price. They aren't interested in quantity, but quality. It's like a mechanic. Scam mechanics just want your money quick for shoddy work and disappear in the night. Good mechanics charge a decent price and do work that makes you come back and recommend them to others.
If you right click a picture, you can then click "Search google for this image" (scroll all the way down if it doesn't pop up on top). You can also use reverse image searches like tineye to see where else that picture has been used on the internet before.
