  1. You can get fillers in your nose to do that. I would do that first before surgery to see what it looks like in harmony with anything else I'd want to do.

Korea has like over 2000 clinics. Id look at some smaller ones.

  2. I would do fillers. They are temporary and if you aren't happy, you can wait and they'll dissipate. If you do like it, you can do fat grafting to make them more permanent.

Sorry if I missed the answer to this, but what do you think is wrong with your nose?

  3. Wow. I haven't really met anyone who had been researching things nearly as long as I have. I've only known about Korean plastic surgery for 3 years. But that was after researching the best of the best in America for years. So you're in good hands (your own).

When are you going to Seoul?

  4. If you go back in the thread, people were talking about what they heard, reviews they read, etc. It was simply a reminder that before you get it done due to believing other posters blindly that there is a lot more to consider. I am sure you would be rather upset if you believed all that was said and you didn't get the results you wanted. Which clearly you have thought about.

  5. I think people need to realize a few things:

    - Your starting off point is important. Some people need a lot of help and others not so much.
    - You need to have realistic goals. You may think you need one surgery and actually need 2 or 3.
    - If you are a shrinking violet, take someone who can convey your concerns properly. Many people claim the doctor was wrong when they simply didn't speak up or literally let the doctor choose.
    - It's your face. Learn the terminology you need to achieve the results that you want.
    - If you're going to spend money on surgery, do what you're told after. Aftercare can make or break results.
    - Be prepared to make sacrifices. Regardless of what surgery you do, salt will exacerbate swelling. You need to walk a lot to help the swelling (from surgery) go down. If you smoke or drink, be prepared to stop before and after surgery.
    - Don't believe everything you read, good or bad. Do your own research. No one else has to live with the results but you. People have reasons for saying a clinic is good or bad and it's not always based in truth.
    - Look for a clinic that specializes in what you want. Don't go to a clinic that is known for dramatic results if what you desire is natural.
    - Make sure you know what you want.
    - You may want to look a certain way today, but that could very well change 5-10 years from now.
    - Listen to your instincts. If you feel uncomfortable or that you're being pushed into something, remember that it only gets worse from there.
    - There are strict slander laws in Korea. Which means that a "good" review isn't always that. You can't say a doctor botched you even if they did.
    - RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH.

  6. The measurements of your top lip to your lower should be 1 to 1.6. I believe some filer in your top lip would bring you closer to your ideal without making your bottom lip fuller and give you a nice Cupid's Bow. You can also see if you like it before doing anything permanent.

Your nose is perfect from the outside. But everyone says that about mine and the inside is a mess. So if you need internal work, Seoul is the place to go.

I would suggest some fat grafting as well.

You're gorgeous, by the way. All of this is just gilding the lily.

  7. A doctor at the top of their game know how to do more than just what they are used to. They should also constantly be learning new techniques. Many doctors in Korea know Caucasian noses as well Asian. When are you going to Seoul again?

  8. From my own personal experience (3 years just here on PF), I would look for someone that you want to look like. Then find out what you need to look more like that. I attempted to do it the way you are right now and it didn't work. Please also remember that different cultures have different ideas of beauty. Find someone you think is beautiful that you have the same basic facial structure as. I resemble the woman in my avatar (we're both biracial), but just need to tweak my nose and eyes to achieve her total look. I have a natural v line and full lips already.

Most other surgeons only do parts of the face, not the face as a whole. Korean surgeons do and that lends to a better result.
