From what I have read about them here, the people who got they didn't have complications. They simply didn't wait for swelling to go down and found someone who didn't bother to make them wait the proper amount of time before they took them out.
Remember also that they have like 5 different names for the paranasal implant surgery, so you haven't read all about them.
Why are you telling people anything about their health if you are not a doctor? fi you have not examined them personally and run tests?
If you quit to work elsewhere, why are you here?
So why are you suggesting a clinic where there has not only been a death, but who lies on their website and are known for botching people (ID)?
And why since you are not a doctor and have not seen people even in pictures are you telling anyone what they should or shouldn't do due to their age or anything else?
Last, why if you have left the business are you here since your information isn't up to date?
Some things make sense and others do not. If you were here to give basic information, you'd tell people how to decide on a clinic, how to tell is a doctor is board certified, how to negotiate and general things like that. Not suggesting clinics since procedures are so broad and without being a doctor, seeing a CT scan and thoroughly examining them personally you can't tell them anything medically.
You know that in Korea truth isn't a defense to slander. Once someone is botched, they can't even tell anyone about it. They only find out if someones dies or if the government intervenes. Maybe it's the lawyer in me or the fact that my father is in law enforcement. But I can suss out when things aren't right. But as usual, the truth will come to the light.
I have no dog in this fight, but remember that unless you see pictures or have reason to believe the bad reviews that they could be from promoters for other clinics. If you're hearing good reviews from friends, that is more believable than people who have reason to say bad things.
I've decided against VIP for personal reasons. The main one is that he doesn't do the kind of nose I want. This is my fourth and last rhino and I am not settling.
That said, I have read nothing but good things from people who have written long, detailed reviews with pictures from before to almost 2 years after about VIP (someone even posted about a friend who he operated on 6 years ago). They know if they are happy or not and they all are. That is what I use to gauge someone's talent.
Every little thing isn't going to be perfect and almost everyone's face is asymmetrical. But where you go should be a personal decision based on your confidence in the doctor's abilities in giving you the look you want.
Mine - don't know them
Cinderella - no (do research, they don't have good reviews)
GNG - they now only give discounts if you give a review here (on PF) BEFORE surgery and their reviews aren't good outside of sponsorship
Vipps - good but expensive
Fresh - one doctor who does everything; isn't ENT; they're expensive and the doctor isn't board certified
Personally I think it depends on what the won is when you go. There is a clinic I am going to that gives the price in both KRW and USD. It just so happens that right now, USD is the better price (not by a lot, but still).
If you're paying with a card, I don't think you have a choice. It will go through as won.
I would do incisional since non-incisional has been known to come undone and then you have to go back and get incisional anyway. Save yourself the time, the healing and the money and just do the incisional. I don't think you have ptosis. Ptosis is drooping of the upper eyelid. Yours is very taut and doesn't hang at all. I can't see where they would take anything for it from especially since you're getting DES.
I think the DES will accent your eyes just enough. And an epicanthoplasty will bring your eyes in to the edge of your nose a touch more (it's really a small amount since it's so close already). It's so small I don't know if you actually need it unless you get your nose done (which I don't think you need and you didn't mention).
You're very good looking already and your personal preferences are exactly that.
I would look for your own example. It is going to be on your face. I found my ideal wish pics by searching people like me (I'm mixed, black and white). The woman in my avatar is my goal. I already have the bottom half of the face naturally and my eyes just need to be brought out a little bit. So defining the tip of my nose is all I need.
So if you're Korean, start with Korean actors, singers, etc. Then narrow it down to people with similar facial structures as you. You do also have to take into account that all noses will not fit your face, so just picking a nose could lead to disaster. HTH!
Before someone says that one person can't be a promoter for more than one clinic, we've already discovered that they have representatives who will answer the Kakao, FB and emails for more than one clinic. I myself have evidence of this in IG messages.
I was with you until you brought up ID. They have one of the worst reputations for a death, using shadow and part time doctors and botching people. They even lie on their website and say they have a 20 year record of no nerve damage, blood clots or death. No, no, no.
Celia is the one who had the vline. I am not happy with the reviews I have seen from Cinderella. What they do for vloggers isn't what they seem to do for everyday people.
I will do a comprehensive review when I am in Seoul.
What someone's personal aesthetic is is exactly that - personal. Medically only the doctor can say how much bone that person has, how much can be shaved off and how much is necessary for that person to achieve their aesthetic. Before and afters only show their abilities. That may have been what she wanted.
I think it will be more helpful to take pictures of what you want to show the doctor instead of concentrating on what you do not like.
Only someone who has seen the X-ray can say how much there was to remove. From the outside, the left of her face had more to take off and the after appears to show that they made it even. Her face is the way Koreans like it. They wouldn't use it as an example of their work if they didn't think it was a good result.
