I think that's a personal thing, really. Some people care if their doctor is Board Certified. For others, it's not that important. To be honest I've gone to three Board Certified doctors here in the US and was botched each time.
For Fresh's doctor, it mattered to me because it was just one more knock against him. I do research on each doctor I consider and if they are Board Certified or not is something I do check, but I look at them as a whole. But that's just me.
Not telling your host that you're having surgery is so they don't attempt to get you to go to a clinic where they will get a kickback (cut of what you spend). Not for while you are convalescing. HTH
The fact that you're concerned means you should cancel. Plastic surgery is nerve wracking enough without being concerned about your host. Contact Airbnb and tell them your concerns. They are valid. Tony isn't the only one in Seoul.
Unless AirBNB has changed monumentally, I do not believe he can collect cash. I'd call them and let them know he's doing that. They don't even release money until you check in and all is well (last I used them). They could very well help you find another place to stay. Good luck.
Banobagi, GNG and DocFinderKorea have stepped their efforts up a lot lately.
A lot of people are not going to show their faces on here to please a bunch of people they will never meet who didn't chip in a dime for their surgery. So don't go calling people who don't do the picture verification promoters based on that alone.
It's not hard to spot the promoters and everyone should be using all the research resources at their disposal. Half the people here don't even use the search function.
They got in trouble for having a party in the surgery theater DURING SURGERY (with the patient asleep in the background) and took pictures. People can die from having to be put under more anesthesia. You can Google it for yourself.
What you consider dolly may not be the same as what I think it is. I encourage you to look up VIP on realself and their website to see the kind of noses they do.
If you go through my posts, you can find where to see legitimate VIP reviews. I am not going with them solely because they do not do the noses type that I like.
That person doesn't work at 101, is no longer a hospital coordinator and isn't a doctor so they can't answer your questions. Dr. Paik's email is [email protected].
What we hear is only a fraction of what goes on due to the slander laws in SK. It usually takes a death for what they have been doing to become public since the government gets involved.
Unless I have a solid reason to not believe them, I trust the foreigners who reported back having issues of some kind.
