  1. I avoid general anesthesia as much as possible. I've been very happy with IV sedation for rhinoplasty, ba, etc. Many excellent surgeons only use IV sedation for rhinoplasties and ba's, of which I've had both. I'm hoping to have a facelift under local anesthesia.

I had my breast implants removed under local anesthesia--my choice. It was safe and it didn't hurt. The hardest part was the psychological aspect.

  2. Welcome! There are some great results on this forum for first-time noses especially! Some that come to mind are View plastic surgery--see @Sarahdomm's thread with her many after pictures, Dream (Dr. Park does closed rhinos), Trend's Dr. Lee (see pics from @lolipop32Swiss), and there are many others, including PS101's Dr. Paik where I had my own revision rhinoplasty. All of these are fair prices as well with no high-pressure selling. Good luck!

  3. @FieryCucumber I have to agree with you about the makeup---in fact imo if a clinic shows a model with makeup in the "after" photo, it's only fair to show him/her with makeup in the "before" photo. I also take that into account when looking at result pics.

Honestly, if they showed a picture of me w/o makeup and then with makeup, (w/o ANY surgery), people would probably say great result! Lol. For starters I have no eyes w/o makeup!

Imagine the "after" photo of the model without a stitch of makeup on--almost unheard of. I just think the before and after pics should have similiar lighting, poses, and makeup.

  4. Thanks for your reply. Happy for you that you're liking your results and that it looks even more natural after your pregnancy! Bonus. I do realize I might need two rounds, but I'm okay with that.

  5. She is attractive but the "after" looks way overdone which is a telltale sign of fat grafting--it's not a look I would want. I hope for her sake the cheeks come down. I don't think making the face bigger/fatter improves anyone except those with a gaunt, thin, long face beforehand. Just my two cents.

  6. Wow sorry, but to me your pic looks like the "after" many people are going for. I wouldn't touch your face. Maybe play with cosmetics if you want a change like @MissOrange mentioned! Further, you don't have a square jaw!--it looks perfect, as does your nose imo and your lips please they're my dream lips lol. Remember that there is always the chance with plastic surgery of looking worse. "The enemy of good is better." Please, you are already a very beautiful young woman--gorgeous in fact!
