  1. sharing my experience not with shaving but with a different part of jaw 'reduction' (front upper / lower jaws pushed in about 10mm) you will experience sagging if you remove bone. you better expect to need a lift if you want to reverse that. Think about your bedsheets; they cover your bed nice and tight if you wrap the matching bedsheets around the matching mattress size. But if you start shrinking that mattress size or the sheets get worn out and loose with age, it wont fit as tight over the mattress. As we age not only do our skin lose laxity and sag due to gravity but also our bones resorb and we lose bone density that holds up some of our facial muscles and other structures. So if you get any accusulpt or shaving, you will experience sag! It's not just the skin that causes sag; Another good example is anyone that's lost weight and has excess skin.
  2. i'm 3 years post op for double jaw surgery for a bimaxillary osteotomy; My initial numbness wasn't a full numbness it was a partial numbness where it's just not as deep of a sensation when I pressed on certain corners of my chin / lower cheek / jaw near the impacted areas. It feels a bit like when you bring your hand out of super cold water and there's a weird dull sensation to touch. It will take around a year to fully recover but if you feel no sensation post op it means the nerve is damaged. I no longer have sensation in parts of my upper and lower gum (the area where they cut out and moved) but it's fine. my teeth oddly can still feel so atleast I know i"m chewing. fortunately never had any major static or numbness issues but I will for sure say the healing process while your teeth are bound together for a week where you eat through a tube is one of the most interesting experiences. I didn't find it too terrible, no idea how I lived through that back then but if you go in watching enough videos of real patients expectations you get a strong mentality of what to expect.

Just turning early 30's Planned Treatment Stack Deep Plane Face Lift - it's the one where they bring the muscles back; and I'm not talking just SMAS Previous Treatment Stack DES & Epicanthoplasty - went with the whole family after graduation A form of jaw surgery (not traditional double)- bimaxillary osteotomy; think a cut to set in your top/bot jaw from the canines & chin augmentation verdicts still out on this one personally because of the skin laxity remaining and uncertain of long term impacts Daily Beauty Stack water wash morning evening - moisturizer / cleanser - Neutrogena basics
