Have you tried asking in the Discord? This is a more niche of a thing to travel for I think. A lot of people travel to Korea for eye, nose, jaw, and lip work. Some people go for general skin issues and hair issues but because these tend to need multiple visits, it is stuff people get locally more often than not.

Someone I chat with now and then in a Facebook group has gone to Hollywood Smiles. She seemed to like it but I can't recommend it without any personal experience. It does help to know someone though that has gone.

YES! I was looking into these options myself. My husband's co-worker has a wife that got Botox injections done for her scalp. She had lost hair after having covid-19 and it never came back. I know a lot of people thing the only option is a hair transplant and that tends to be more the case for men than women. NOPE. It is not worth it. Botox is not something that is terribly expensive to begin with. Why would I ever go to another country and spend all the costs of hotel, flights, etc. and pay more when I can just book an appointment 30 min from where I live?

I believe you are sedated for this so medical complications could arise from that. Very important to get your heart checked before getting anything done that requires you to be put under as it can stop your heart!

YES! This is something I don't see asked enough. You will have to fill out a form and give them all information. It helps if you can bring with you diagnostic sheets from your doctors as well as lists of all prescriptions or over-the-counter medication you use. Even vitamins. Some vitamins can cause excessive bleeding and are a no-no for surgery.

What makes you think it is not a legit place? I have seen reviews and before/afters of people getting work done there and it all seems very straight forward and above board. That being said, I have never gone here myself.

This is a good question! When I was in Korea in 2024, I was overwhelmed. I didn't know what to do when I had nothing to do outside of my surgery plans. What I did was look at local spots. Food places, entertainment, shopping spots. Korea has soooo much to offer and is so fun when you enjoy the vacation.

I would plan for a bit of extra time. You might end up changing your mind about a clinic after getting there. Allow yourself at least 5 days for this. So assuming that the surgery will take 8 days as mentioned above, you would want a minimum of 13 days.
