This is true. I don't recall a single clinic not having an about page. Although I want to point out that some of them will have pictures of the doctors with minimal information about them, just basic stuff.

Pointy noses are not a common feature or style in Korea. The image above is the most common style and sought after shape. Do you consider this point? I know of one clinic that focuses on trends and styles in plastic surgery and that clinic is Pride Plastic Surgery, maybe check them out?

So I know this is an older thread but I wanted to state that I know someone personally (from another site) that has been to EverM Dental and had fantastic results. Did you end up going with this clinic? She had gone and got her jaw/bite corrected back in 2024. I am just curious who you went with.

I will tell you that Sketch PS was on my list too and I did speak with them about having work done. Not a good fit for me but you should contact them, see what you think!

I don't mean right after surgery but after the healing process is done, as a means to keep the work looking more fresh in terms of anti-aging work? I am not sure what to look for online to see if this is an option or not. Or if it is something that should be avoided. I am going to be getting my surgery done in the near future but I am thinking into the future of maybe getting a once a year treatment like threading or laser to keep everything plump and youthful. I found the Gowoonline Clinic which I may visit whilst I am in Korea either before or after my surgery if this is an option and plan to go back once or so a year. Since it isn't too expensive for me.

No matter what you decide, just make sure the clinic, doctor, and everyone involved with your planned surgery understands you. It can be a nightmare to book something and arrive and feel as though your needs and concerns can't be met due to a language barrier.

I have seen View PS too being discussed online so I contacted them. I think they sound great but I decided against them as I was talking to a few different people and they didn't seem to understand me as well as other clinics. Also, they didn't confirm proper anesthesia setup and aftercare for me during or chat.

I noticed a lot of clinics do this. Having gotten in touch with several (I can be rather annoying when I want information LOL!) I have seen this pattern in terms of work schedules for the doctors and staff.

For those of you who have gone to Korea for surgeries, did you allow for extra time before the surgery date? By this, I mean did you allow yourself to have a few days to a week to get settled and enjoy Korea before you got your work done. I am just thinking I might do this just in case I don't feel well enough after my surgery to go out.

I am just wondering once I book something with a clinic, should I try to get a hotel near the clinic? I am not sure how busy Korea is or how hard it is to get around. I have heard of people saying they were "late" to appointments because they stayed too far away.

They allow for this? I mean showing other people's before and afters. I would imagine if they do, the patients had to sign off on it. I figured everything they had just got posted online anyways.

I heard great things of the V-Beam for rosacea. I think it is for broken blood vessels and redness. A friend of a friend got this done in Korea and her skin looks completely different now. Not sure how long it lasts or what not. They do have a lot of k-beauty brands and lines for redness too. You can check on amazon.

It has been an annoying process for me too. You are not alone. I feel like I am being pulled in different directions. A lot of useful information online about this will give you the basics but they leave so much information out. It is exhausting. I am happy I found this forum. Hoping to get some help myself.

I thought I had found the clinic I was going to go to. I was ready to contact them until I went down a rabbit hole. It turns out a lot of reviews online are fabricated. Also, the negative reviews are often deleted due to Korea’s strict defamation laws which protects clinics. So now I am not sure. Should I even bother considering reviews as a factor when picking a clinic?
