  1. I am in the process of looking for stuff myself, for burn scars and issues like that. I have yet to find a clinic I like. I have contacted a few but it didn't feel right for me. I am making sure I take my time though and being very thorough with my decisions.
  2. For certain things, I think it could be better to work with a smaller clinic and where there is only one doc. It seems like they tend to be more perfectionists and less competitive. From what I gathered, they almost view themselves as artists. This could be why they like working alone. Not all boutique clinics have just one single doctor though.
  3. The only ones I know of are clinics. I don't see anyone running accounts that post from various clinics so you should probably just get a list of the best clinics and follow those. I follow a few of them on my account I can give you if you want.
  4. I am still in the process of looking. I have found a few clinics that seemed promising but when I got in touch, they didn't know much English and I did not feel comfortable booking anything with them. Very friendly and everything, I just don't want to have to worry about words being crossed or something.
  5. I know they do follow-ups while you are still in Korea but I mean in terms of down the road. Do you have to plan to book another flight weeks or months out post surgery or do they do this online? Like looking at your progress and making sure everything is going well? I have heard of some people needing to go multiple times back and forth from their home country to Korea for one surgery. That has to be expensive!!
  6. I don't know but I do know that if/when I book something for fixing my scars, I will be staying as close as possible to where the clinic is so if I have to walk, I have that option. I don't want to be stuck in traffic!!
  7. I will check the few clinics mentioned, thank you. I am still a bit overwhelmed though. I have been reading about the process and planning for getting surgery overseas and it seems like so much
  8. Hi everyone. I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I am looking for clinics that specifically treat people that have burns and scarring. I had an accident 4 years ago and have had work done but the rest is cosmetic and my insurance won't cover what remains to be fixed. Someone I talked to on Facebook told me to find a surgeon in Korea as it is cheaper and see what I can do about it. The scars from the burns are on the far side of my face, part of my ear, and down my neck. I would love to be able to make it look less noticeable. I have some on my shoulder too but I am not as concerned with that right now.
