Are there any weather conditions I should be aware of when planning a trip to Korea?

I am just wondering if there is a better/worse time of the year to go to Korea for work. 

I don't really see anyone mention the weather. I am not sure how it is over there at all. I have been to Japan and I know they have Hurricane seasons.

Most people try to avoid the really sticky and humid monsoon summer months. it's a lot more pleasant in the spring and fall, and a lot of peope tend to go during the winter.

I actually looking into this! March to May is probably the most beautiful time to go just for the cherry blossom season. You want to avoid June to August as mentioned, that is the monsoon season and it is not pleasant. Also I read that January and February are the cheapest months to go but it is cold outside.

I was planning for April/May but I am pushing my surgery back until September. I am actually relieved in a way as I will be missing all the bad weather so it worked out for me!

Everything I read just says to avoid summer months with July and August being said to be the worst. You'd have to deal with rain and storms which could be annoying if you are planning on walking around and doing things while in Korea.

I think it depends on what your budget is as well. If you don't care about flight costs, avoiding the main monsoon season is probably best but you can find good deals on flights and hotel stays during that time too.
