Is Seoul the best area to find a plastic surgeon?

I was looking around and used ChatGPT to find what is considered the best surgeons in Korea and all of them are in Seoul. For people with experience going to Korea from another nation, is this a good area (safe!) to find a doctor? I want to get a few things done but I am not sure how to narrow things down. I figured narrowing down the location would be best.

It is known as "Plastic Surgery Capital of the World" for a reason!

You will find the best doctors, get the best services, and have the best experience finding a doctor in this location. People from around the world go here. It was the first area I looked into when trying to find a doctor.

Yup! Everything I read says you will find their best doctors in this city. Not to say you can't find a great one outside of it, I just know this is the main hub for work in Korea. Even the locals will recommend it too.

I know Korea is known for their plastic surgery but I am guessing the world-wide appeal is down to the cost and the experience. It is far more common for young people to get work done in Korea vs other nations where you typically see mostly 35+ in age getting work.

YES! I think this is the best place to go to find a plastic surgeon in the world. I have had experiences with doctors in the US, Mexico, and Canada and I can tell you the work and the care I got in Korea was above and beyond what I experienced elsewhere.

I mean if you look into it online, you will see a lot of websites recommending it. I don't think it is fair to say it is the best because they are very likely skilled doctors outside of this area. I am looking around and found some that rate well and do great work - not located in Seoul.

That being said, doing your own research and finding the best doctor for you is more important than what city they are located in.

I had heard this, which is why I was asking. It is hard to make sense of such claims when I see the same thing all the time but there are complaints thrown in.

It seems like it is a great place to look but there are highly rated doctors outside of this area as well.
