But for folks like myself who try to minimize the fullness, lift can be a problem aesthetically even though it corrects sagging and loose skin. I am curious what you think of this observation after going through the procedure.

I am planning to be in Korea at the beginning of October for a couple of weeks to explore options.

I will be looking at aculift and fat graft to even out areas I am not happy with.

Hi forumers considering face lift, AsianLady seems to be happy with her result, I was too at 1 month post op which is about how long ago AsianLady had hers done. Bear in mind that there is still swelling so result is NOT accurate, furthermore, if there was FG involved it is even harder to judge. When all my swelling settled and fat re-absorbed, that is when you can see how good or bad your doctor is. Some of you have seen my pics so you know what I mean.

I know it depends on a lot on individual, but what you described seems also applies to me.

I's been 9months since I had done mine, and my face is still going through de-swelling process. Even in the last month or so it has come down a lot. I still am not happy with the result, but it's better by miles compared to 1month after the surgery.

I am in my late 40s. I did a mid facelift and nose revision this January in one of reputable clinics in Korea. I am very unhappy with the result, the aesthetic outcome has been poor and I still have red skin behind my ears that I still can put my hair up. I have been waiting patiently with hope that it may improve but I clearly see now what had gone wrong and further improvement would be unlikely.

After such a cost and pain etc it is very disheartening.

Knowing what I know now, I didn't really need a facelift except the lose skin just underneath chin which could have corrected with small excision to remove the skin, and a bit of graft would have been perfect. I look at my old photos and I miss her. There was a bit of sagging but she looked supple and beautiful, it looks weird and unnatural.

I am planning to visit Korea in the next couple of months to see what can be done to improve the aesthetics/shape, and also looking into nose revision.

Please DO NOT rush. That is my biggest regret.

If anyone knows any doc in Seoul with good aesthetics (not just skills) and experience I would appreciate info. Thanks.

Hi Agacci,

We have similar problems and like you I prefer and miss my old look. The scars behind my ears and on my nape are still red and raised even after 1 round of steroid injection. Please let us know after you've had your adjustments because that's what I want to do but I'm quited confused atm. Please add me on kakao, id is motherhen. Thanks.

Hello mimi, Why don't you try Thailand plastic surgery? I read more about them and the reviews are great too, but if you really prefer in Korea it's a good choice too. Good luck

Finally found the posting for our age group. I am planning to go to Korea in early November for facelifting. Thank you all for sharing the experiences. But it seems this thread is more reserved and less open about the information, such as price and the names of the clinics.
Sorry to hear that the procedure didn't work for some which makes me pretty nervous too.

I also did facelift recently in one quite famous clinic in Korea. All my friends said the result was very good. I changed my nose too in that clinic. Nose still swollen but getting slimmer. Some of my new friends (facelift patients) in the clinic are very happy with the result, some aren't happy. Do your research, go to a few clinics to do the consultation (maybe 4 clinics), use your feeling. If you feel comfortable and have the chemistry with the doctor then you should go for it. Facelift is a BIG thing. It was so hurt for the first 4 days....ewwww. I can't even opened my eyes for 3 days. Huhuhuhu.
