How long should I plan my trip for?
berrygirl21 replied to alisaw's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
As long as possible. You want to have at least 5 days just for recovery. That is like the minimum. I always tell people to aim for 10. So 10 days for recovery, 7 to 10 days for clinic scheduling and surgery, and then the odd few days to allow for tourism. I think 3 to 4 works is ideal. -
Will I need medical history with me?
berrygirl21 replied to alisaw's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
Not all clinics will require to see medical files but they will require your medical history and you will be given a form to fill out. It is best to ask ahead of time - contact whatever clinic you are planning to go to and see what information they need/require before leaving for your trip. - Yesterday

Will I need medical history with me?
mariemarie replied to alisaw's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
YES! This is something I don't see asked enough. You will have to fill out a form and give them all information. It helps if you can bring with you diagnostic sheets from your doctors as well as lists of all prescriptions or over-the-counter medication you use. Even vitamins. Some vitamins can cause excessive bleeding and are a no-no for surgery. -
Is 1mm Plastic Surgery legit?
mariemarie replied to kpopkelly's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
What makes you think it is not a legit place? I have seen reviews and before/afters of people getting work done there and it all seems very straight forward and above board. That being said, I have never gone here myself. -
I had been in touch with a fairly large clinic about having different work done. I want some jaw area work, eye work, and a nose job. After going back and forth I was able to schedule a virtual talk with one of the doctors and he told me there will be three different doctors who would work on me. Is this normal? Is this considered a red flag? I guess I just had assumed only one doctor would manage everything.

How long should I plan my trip for?
alisaw replied to alisaw's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
Yeah I am starting to understand why people take longer trips even if the surgery they get is simple and has a fast recovery! I will for sure be booking a longer stay -
Is 1mm Plastic Surgery legit?
justzoe replied to kpopkelly's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
I have contacted this clinic. It is one of 4 or 5 I have contacted. This one took awhile to hear back from. I am not sure why. But they seem to be legit to me. I was asking around and found someone that I work with whose family member had gone to this clinic for some skin issue and her results were excellent. -
Is reducing arm fat a simple surgery?
justzoe replied to justzoe's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
Okay I was not entirely sure. I guess I would need a brachioplasty if that is the case as I do have loose skin that will need to be tucked/removed. Thanks for replying. I am going to look into this a bit more and research it. -

The longer you can stay the better. Reason being that you allow for consultation, surgery, recovery, and aftercare. You don't want to be rushing onto a plane after having surgery, you'd be miserable!! -
Cost of a butt lift in Korea?
EveRose replied to lolabananas's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
I would have assumed that a BBL would be substantially more than a standard lift but I guess I am not familiar enough with the surgery. Is it a combination of a lift and implant? -
How to choose a clinic/hospital/doctor?
kpopkelly replied to Novacrite's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
I am noticing just how many clinics/hospitals are out there. I had no idea. I guess this is why they call Korea the plastic surgery capital of the world! Looking at the before and afters, I will say they tend to do the best "natural" work I have seen too. -

I was looking at this clinic online. I am not sure if it is my browser or what but the website seems to be a bit broken. I am wondering if this is a legit clinic or not. Has anyone been? Or has anyone been in contact with the clinic? -

Oh, that is right. I should be using the proper term for it. Thank you I will give that a try. And thank you for letting me know about that clinic, I will check it out and maybe contact them! -
How to choose a clinic/hospital/doctor?
LupinBB81 replied to Novacrite's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
Checking Google reviews is helpful. I believe they are more strict with reviews when it comes to medical services. At least that seems to be the case here in the US. I noticed that "fake" reviews or inflated stars does get removed. -
Cost of a butt lift in Korea?
LupinBB81 replied to lolabananas's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
You sound very small so I would imagine it would be on the cheaper side. Women that are lager tend to have extra costs as the surgery is a bit more invasive and recovery time ends up being longer. -
Clinic for male breast reduction?

Dr. Myung Ju Lee M.D. Ph.D offers this at his clinic and he gets very good reviews on Google. Check out him and see what you think. It seems his clinic offers various options as well for reduction depending on your needs or desires. -
Looking into hair transplants for women
LupinBB81 replied to SpringBean's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
I am not entirely sure about this but you can look at the top-rated clinics and see if they offer this. I did see something about Korea looking to have hair loss be covered as a medical treatment instead of an elected surgery for Koreans which is pretty cool!
